Extract from the Resolution of the Presidency of the Insular Foundation for Training, Employment and Business Development (FIFEDE) No. 7/2026 dated January 16, 2026, which approves the call for “Subsidies for the employment of young graduates who are unemployed by local public entities on the island of Tenerife”. REGULATORY BASES: The regulatory bases of this call were approved by the Island Government Council of the Hon. Cabildo Insular de Tenerife in transfer held on December 17, 2025 and published in full in the BOP of Santa Cruz de Tenerife No. 7 of January 16, 2026. Likewise, they are available to interested parties on the FIFEDE electronic headquarters (https://sede.fifede.org). BUDGET CREDIT: This call has a financial allocation of ONE MILLION SEVEN HUNDRED FIFTY-NINE THOUSAND NINE HUNDRED AND FIFTY-FIVE EUROS AND SIXTY-THREE CENTS (€1,759,955.63), financed by the Hon. Island Council of Tenerife within the MEDI – FDCAN program. OBJECT AND PURPOSE: The purpose of this call is to grant, on a competitive basis, subsidies to public companies, public business entities and foundations 100% owned by Local Entities of Tenerife (Municipalities and Island Council), for the employment of young graduates and unemployed people through training contracts to obtain professional practice, with the aim of improving employability and facilitating the job placement of unemployed people. qualified, allowing at the same time the reduction of unemployment of this group and improving their professional skills with their first work experience in the performance of their degree, according to the conditions and requirements included in the regulatory bases. BENEFICIARY ENTITIES AND REQUIREMENTS: Public companies, public foundations and local public business entities (EPEL) that formalize new employment contracts of the type provided for in these Bases may be beneficiaries of these subsidies, to carry out their tasks in Work Centers located on the island of Tenerife and that also meet the following requirements: Adopt the legal form of a Limited Company, Public Limited Company, Foundation or EPEL. The social, foundational capital, or assets, where applicable, must be entirely public and dependent on a local entity at the island level (Cabildo de Tenerife) or municipal (any municipality on the island of Tenerife). Not be subject to any of the causes of prohibition to obtain the status of beneficiary, established in article 13.2 and 13.3 of Law 38/2003, of November 17, General of Subsidies. These requirements must be accredited with the documentation to be submitted with the grant application specified in point 10.2 of the Regulatory Bases of the call. REQUIREMENTS OF THE CONTRACTS TO BE SUBSIDIZED: The contracts to be subsidized must meet the following requirements: The contractual modality must be “Training Contract to obtain the Professional Practice”, full-time according to the applicable collective agreement. The job must allow obtaining professional practice appropriate to the level of studies or training covered by the contract. The Beneficiary Entity will prepare the individual training plan in which the content of the professional practice is specified, and will assign a tutor who has a qualification of the same level or higher than that of the person hired, with adequate and sufficient skills, training or experience for the performance of their tutoring functions, as well as monitoring the plan and the correct fulfillment of the object of the contract.
