First. Object. The purpose of the scholarships in nurseries and nursery schools in the municipality of Santander is to support the reconciliation of personal, family and work life for family units with daughters and sons aged between four months and six years. Second. Beneficiaries. Family units residing in the municipality of Santander that meet the requirements established for its granting may be beneficiaries of this benefit: The applicant must be registered in Santander at least three months prior to submitting the application. The minor must also be registered with the Santander City Council. The minors for whom the scholarship is requested must be between four months and six years of age. When they are enrolled in 3, 4 and 5 year old classrooms, they will only be granted during vacation periods. The person(s) who have custody of the minor must be working, either self-employed or employed, or undergoing employment training.
