REGULATORY RULES FOR CALL FOR COMPETITION VII LITERARY CONTEST “SAN VALENTÍN, WITHOUT INSTRUCTIONS” 2026 (ALJARAQUE). Genre: Poetry, short story, letter and story. Convening entity: Department of Culture of the Aljaraque City Council. First. All citizens of the European Union or people residing in one of the member countries who wish to participate in this contest may participate. Over 16 years old. Second. Participants will present a work by an original, unpublished author, written in Spanish and that has not been awarded or presented previously or simultaneously to other competitions pending their decision. The theme will be love in any of its manifestations. Likewise, versions in any graphic material, including comics, will be admitted. The work must be original and have a minimum length of one side and a maximum of three sides of a DIN A-4 size sheet. Third. The works may be submitted: In an anonymous closed envelope, stating on the outside, in addition to the address to which it is sent, the pseudonym or motto under which it is presented, specifying the VI Literary Contest “Valentine's Day, without instructions”. Inside, another envelope will be inserted that will contain the following data referring to the author: Name and surname. Photocopy of the D.N.I or individual passport, home address, telephone number, email address and sworn statement of the author stating that the letter submitted to the contest is his or her authorship and that it has not been published, awarded, or submitted simultaneously to another contest. The works will be delivered or sent to: Casa de la Cultura, Av. De Punta Umbría, 1, 21110 Aljaraque, Huelva. Through email, sending it to the following address: cultura@ayuntamientodealjaraque.es The following data referring to the author must appear in it: Name and surname, ID or digitized passport, home address, telephone number, email address and sworn statement from the author stating that the letter submitted to the contest is his or her authorship and that it has not been published, awarded or presented previously and simultaneously in another contest. The staff in charge of collecting the letters will ensure the secrecy of authorship. All works presented under this modality will receive a message from this department confirming arrival. For any information you can call 959 31 88 46. Fourth. Saturday, February 14, 2026, is set as the deadline for receiving letters. Those sent by email that are sent on a later date than the established date will be accepted. Fifth. The following prize is established for this contest: -Prize for the best work: consisting of a prize of €300 and a diploma. Sixth. The Jury's ruling will be made public on February 27, 2026, except for unforeseen changes, and will be final. This will be communicated to the winners and they will be notified sufficiently in advance of the prize delivery date and must be present at the same, otherwise the organization will understand that the winners renounce it, except due to duly accredited force majeure. Seventh. The presentation of works in this VII LITERARY CONTEST “SAN VALENTÍN, SIN INSTRUCCIONES” implies full acceptance of these rules by the authors. Octave. The jury will be made up of members of the Casa de Cultura de Aljaraque and will be the only body empowered to make a valid interpretation of these Bases, as well as to modify them, reasonably, when circumstances so advise. Novena. All participants are summoned to the public ceremony of the Jury's decision.
