BDNS: xxxxx In accordance with the provisions of articles 17.3.b) and 20.8.a) of Law 38/2003, of November 17, General Subsidies, the extract of the call is published, the full text of which can be consulted in the National Subsidies Database (http://www.pap.minhap.gob.es/bdnstrans), and in this BOJA. First. Call. The granting of subsidies for the execution of applied research and experimental development projects that are developed within the Andalusian Campus of International Excellence under the protection of Line 3 of the regulatory bases of the Order of April 23, 2024 is called for the year 2025, under a competitive competition regime. Second. Beneficiary entities. The coordinating Universities of the Campuses of International Excellence of Andalusia (CEI), registered in the Registry of Knowledge Agents, in the category provided for in article 3.2.b) 3 of Decree 223/2023, of September 12, which approves the Regulation regulating the classification, accreditation and registration of Agents of the Andalusian Knowledge System, can apply for these subsidies at the time of submission of the application. Third. Object. 1. Applied research and experimental development projects are subsidized within the Campuses of International Excellence, under Line 3 provided for in article 1.2.c) of the regulatory bases. 2. The projects must be developed in one of the specialization environments of the Smart Specialization Strategy for the Sustainability of Andalusia, S4Andalucía 2021-2027, within the framework of Thematic Line 1 aimed at R&D&I. The Strategy was approved by Government Council Agreement dated July 18, 2023 published in BOJA no. 139 of July 21, and whose challenges can be consulted on the official website of the Strategy: https://s4andalucia.es/recursos/: Specialization environment Subentorno E1. Only non-economic activities will be financed as defined in section 2.1.1 of the Commission Communication on the State Aid Framework for Research and Development and Innovation (2022/C 414/01). Room. Regulatory bases. This call will be governed, in everything that is not provided for in this provision, by the provisions of the Order of April 23, 2024, which approves the regulatory bases for the development of research projects by the agents of the Andalusian knowledge system, published in BOJA number 82 of April 29, 2024. Fifth. Financing and amount of subsidies 1. The total amount available for this call is 5,000,000 euros. The subsidies will be financed from Service 17 of budget program 54A and the following budget item: ITEM NAME ANNUITY 2026 1500170000 G/54A/74100/00 A411AB12N2 2025000239 TO ANDALUSIAN UNIVERSITIES CAMPUS OF INTERNATIONAL EXCELLENCE €2,500,000 ANNUITY 2027 €2,500,000 2. The European Union participates in the financing of these subsidies, through the European Regional Development Fund FEDER, 85%, through the Andalusia FEDER Program 2021-2027. 3. The amount of the subsidies may reach up to 100% of the cost of the activity and for this call it is determined based on a concession regime through modules, in accordance with the provisions of article 76 of Royal Decree 887/2006, of July 21, which approves the Regulation of Law 38/2003, of November 17, General of Subsidies for direct personnel costs, costs indirect costs and eligible stay costs together with a system of actual costs incurred by the beneficiary for the rest of the eligible costs other than the above.
