Official description of the call
First. Beneficiaries: The persons referred to in article 3 may choose to be beneficiaries of the subsidies granted through this Call, and who, in addition to meeting those indicated in article 13 of the LGS, meet the following requirements: a) Be less than 24 years old as of December 31 of the year that is the subject of this Call. This age limit is not required in the case of athletes with disabilities. b) Be a non-professional athlete and be in possession of a federative license for the season that is the subject of this Call in the federation of the Principality of Asturias or the corresponding national federation. c) Be registered in the Municipal Register of Inhabitants of the Oviedo City Council at least one year prior to the date of publication of this Call. d) Not be serving a firm sanction for a disciplinary or administrative infraction in sports related to doping or for violent, racist, xenophobic or discriminatory acts and conduct based on sex. Second. Purpose: The purpose of this Call is the granting of subsidies to young athletes from the Council of Oviedo to support the economic effort involved in the practice of federated sports by athletes under 24 years of age and people with disabilities without age limit, who belong to sports entities with registered offices in the Council of Oviedo and have stood out in official, national or international competitions. Third. Regulation: The subsidies that are the subject of this Call will be governed, in addition to the provisions thereof, by Law 38/2003, of November 17, General Subsidies (hereinafter, LGS), and the Regulation of Law 38/2003, of November 17, General Subsidies, approved by Royal Decree 887/2006, of July 21 (hereinafter, RLGS), and by the General Ordinance of Subsidies of the City Council of Oviedo (hereinafter, OGS), Consolidated Text approved by agreement of the Full City Council, in a session of 01/30/2013 (BOPA 109, of 05/13/2013), and its Regulatory Bases for subsidies of the Department of Sports for young athletes of the Council of Oviedo, approved by agreement of the Full City Council, in a session of 04/04/2023 (BIM 45, dated 11/9/2023 and BOPA 217, dated 11/13/2023). Room. Amount: In the Sports Budget for 2026, the amount allocated to this Call for subsidies for young athletes of the Council of Oviedo amounts to 26,000.00 euros, entered in the Sports Expense Center item 920 341 48999. Exceptionally, in accordance with article 58.2 of the RLGS, it may be extended to a maximum of 5,000.00 euros without the need for a new call, meeting the requirements established in said article. Fifth. Application Submission Deadline: The documentation to participate in the call must be submitted to the General Registry of the Oviedo City Council; in the Registry of the Sports Office of the Oviedo City Council (Sports Section, c/Río Ibias, nº 3, Bajo or in the Electronic Registry of the Oviedo City Council (www.oviedo.es), in the terms of art 14.2 of Law 39/2015 of October 1, on the Common Administrative Procedure of Public Administrations (LPACAP). The submission period will be one month from the day following the of its publication in the B.O.P.A. Sixth.
