Official description of the call
First.– Beneficiaries. University graduates who, on the closing date of the application submission period, meet the following requirements may apply for the aid of this call: 1. Possess the title of Bachelor, Engineer, Architect, University Graduate with a Degree of at least 300 ECTS credits or university master's degree, or equivalent, specified for each project in Annex I of the call that qualifies them for doctoral studies according to current regulations 2. Be admitted or enrolled in an official doctoral program of the University of Burgos for the 2025-2026 academic year. Applicants may also be all those persons who, at the time of submission of the application, not being enrolled or admitted to a doctoral program, are in a position to be so on the date on which the contract is formalized Second.– Purpose. Three predoctoral contracts are called with a maximum duration of four years under the modality of predoctoral contract, in accordance with the provisions of article 21 of Law 14/2011 on Science, Technology and Innovation, modified by Law 17/2022, of September 5, for the development of research tasks in the scope of a specific and innovative project, so that predoctoral research staff in training carry out a doctoral thesis associated with a research project, from among those described in Annex I, including the financing of stays in R&D centers and tuition expenses derived from doctoral studies. Likewise, these grants include a postdoctoral orientation period (POP) aimed at the professional development and specialization of this research staff, for a maximum period of 12 months, provided that the doctorate is obtained during the period of execution of the action, without prejudice to the provisions regarding interruptions and extensions of the execution period of the action in article 25.7 of the Order of Call for Knowledge Generation Projects 2024. Third. - Bases regulators. Order CIN/1025/2022, of October 27, published in the "BOE" of October 29, which approves the regulatory bases for the granting of public aid corresponding to various programs and subprograms of the State Plan for Scientific and Technical Research and Innovation 2021-2023, whose management corresponds to the State Research Agency Fourth. - Amount. The total amount of the credit recorded is four hundred two thousand six hundred euros (€402,600.00). Fifth. – Deadline for submitting applications.
