EXTRACT from the Order of January 22, 2026, which establishes the bases that regulate subsidies for the promotion of employment in rural areas, the Galicia Suma Talento: Rural Activo program, and proceeds to call for applications for the year 2026 (procedure code TR351G). BDNS (Idenf.): In accordance with the provisions of articles 17.3.b) and 20.8.a) of Law 38/2003, of November 17, general on subsidies, the extract of the call is published, the full text of which can be consulted in the National Subsidies Database (http://www.pap.minhap.gob.es/bdnstrans/index). First. Beneficiary entities 1. Municipalities that have a population of less than 50,000 inhabitants may be beneficiary entities of the subsidies provided for in this order, according to the official figures of the municipal registry of inhabitants for the year 2025 published by the Galician Institute of Statistics, by individual request or by joint request of groups or associations of town councils; the associations of municipalities of Galicia; the local consortia of Galicia constituted exclusively by city councils, and the entities resulting from a municipal merger may also be beneficiaries. Provincial councils are excluded from the scope of this call. 2. The entities included in section 1 of this article must have sufficient technical and management capacity to carry out the corresponding projects. 3. Entities that are subject to any of the circumstances established in article 10.2 of Law 9/2007, of June 13, on Galician subsidies may not be beneficiaries. Second. Purpose This order aims to establish the regulatory bases and the conditions by which the public call, on a competitive basis, for subsidies that are intended for the financing of employment promotion actions in collaboration with local entities of Galicia with less than 50,000 inhabitants, through the hiring of unemployed workers, in collaboration with local entities of Galicia with less than 50,000 inhabitants, will be governed, in the scope of the Autonomous Community of Galicia, through the hiring of unemployed workers, with the aim of providing them with the experience and professional practice necessary to facilitate their job placement (procedure code TR351G). These people will carry out tasks related, mainly, to the prevention of fires in the secondary zones defined by the Law of Prevention and Defense against Forest Fires of Galicia, such as preventive planning, forest valuation, forestry, forest clearing and biomass management. Third. Requirements of works or services The works or services that will be developed through the activity of unemployed workers must be tasks related, for the most part, to the prevention of fires in the secondary zones defined by the Law of prevention and defense against forest fires of Galicia, such as preventive planning, forest valorization, forestry, forest clearing, biomass management, and meet the following requirements: a) They must be executed by local entities under direct administration or by the public bodies, entities or companies that are entrusted with its execution. b) That, in its execution or provision, the training and professional practice of unemployed people is favored. c) That the people hired for coordination tasks linked to the prevention and defense against forest fires, maintain permanent contact and collaboration with the personnel in charge of guaranteeing the public biomass management system, as provided in the collaboration agreement between the Xunta de Galicia, through the Department of the Rural Environment, and Seaga, in matters of prevention and defense against forest fires. d) That the local entity has sufficient budgetary allocation to take charge of the non-subsidized budget items for carrying out the works or services. e) That the duration of the contracts of unemployed people who carry out the provision of services is equal to or greater than nine months. f) That the hires are for full-time work. g) The hiring carried out may not be intended to cover vacant jobs in the list of jobs of the company.
