First. Beneficiaries 1.- Persons over 65 years of age who have the recognition of their degree I dependency status, and who meet the general and specific access requirements regulated and pursuant to the provisions of Law 12/2008, of December 5, on Social Services, may be holders of the economic benefit regulated in these bases. 2.- Exceptionally, older people in a situation or risk of lack of protection will have the right, understanding as such situations in which there is a lack of protection, lack of defense, lack of care, helplessness (lack of moral and material assistance). All of this, accredited by a report issued by the referring social worker. Second. Purpose These bases are intended to regulate the economic benefit linked to the service that will be granted by the Amorebieta-Etxano City Council in order to enable access to an accommodation service, outside the municipal network of social services, to older people in a situation of grade I dependency to the extent that they do not have access to the accommodation services and benefits established in the Basque System of Social Services or other systems. Third. Regulatory bases The City Council of Amorebieta-Etxano, through Mayoral Decree 2026-0359 dated February 6, approves the Bases/public call for subsidies 2026 for the granting of the Benefit linked to the accommodation service for elderly people in a situation of grade I dependency, publishing the text in the B.O.B. No. 34, dated February 19, 2026. Fourth. Amount These aids have a budget provision contemplated in the 2026 municipal budget, in item 2314 48000 with a provision of 36,000 euros Fifth. Deadline and place for submitting applications 1.- Applications for benefits will be made in writing, in the official form and must be submitted to the General Registry of the City Council.
