Official description of the call

First. - Beneficiaries: The Town Councils of the island of Tenerife. The Business Associations of Small and Medium Enterprises located in a commercial area of the island of Tenerife. The Federations or Confederations of Business Associations of Small and Medium-sized Retail Commercial Enterprises in which the associations of the island of Tenerife are integrated. Second. - Purpose: To finance those Commercial Dynamization actions that aim to strengthen the competitiveness of the commercial fabric located in residential urban centers on the island of Tenerife, carried out between January 1 and December 31, 2026. Third. - Regulatory Bases: The regulatory Bases of this call were approved by agreement of the Island Government Council held on February 25, 2026. Fourth. - Amount: The budgetary credit approved for this call amounts to FOUR HUNDRED AND THIRTY THOUSAND EUROS (€430,000.00), corresponding to the 2026 annuity, declared as expandable by up to another ONE HUNDRED AND FIFTEEN THOUSAND EUROS (€115,000.00) depending on the availability of credit as a consequence of any of the circumstances established by regulation. Fifth. - Deadline for submitting applications: The deadline for submitting applications will be TWENTY (20) CALENDAR DAYS to be computed from the day following the publication of this extract of this call in the Official Gazette of the Province of Santa Cruz de Tenerife, through the National Subsidies Database. Applications will be formalized in the official standardized model specifically prepared by the Island Council of Tenerife, which is available to interested parties in the electronic headquarters (https://sede.tenerife.es), section "Procedures and Services". The documentation to be submitted together with the application will be that listed in Annex I of the Regulatory Bases. Sixth. – Eligible expenses. Those described in the 4th regulatory base. Seventh. –Subsidy amount. The amount of the subsidy will amount to up to 100% of the eligible expense, with the following limits: €15,000.00 for the proposal that is developed in a municipality of more than 20,000 inhabitants. €25,000.00 for the proposal that is developed in a municipality of up to 20,000 inhabitants. The amount of the subsidy may in no case be of such an amount that, alone or in conjunction with other subsidies, aid, income or resources, it exceeds the cost of the subsidized activity. Eighth. - Payment: It will be made by advance payment prior to justification, once the final resolution granting the subsidy is issued, understanding that these subsidies are intended to finance projects to be carried out by entities that have sufficient resources to temporarily finance the fulfillment of the subsidized actions without having the public funds that will support it. The establishment of a guarantee for the advance payment of the funds will not be necessary. Ninth. - Deadline for justifying the grants awarded: The deadline for submitting the justification for the expenses declared as eligible for subsidies will be THIRTY (30) CALENDAR DAYS counted from the day following the end of the approved program, with a maximum date of January 30, 2027. The justification will be carried out through the supporting account modality, through the presentation of a classified list of activity expenses (Annex IX) and the Copy of invoices or documents proving the expenditure. Tenth. - Other information: The maximum period to resolve and notify this procedure for granting subsidies will be SIX (6) MONTHS, counted from the date of publication of this Call in the Official Gazette of the Province of Santa Cruz de Tenerife. The instruction of the procedure corresponds to the Headquarters of the Administrative Service of Industry, Commerce and Business Support. These subsidies are compatible with the receipt of other subsidies, aid, income or resources for the same purpose, coming from any public or private administration or entity, national, the European Union or international organizations.
