The Blas Infante Awards for Study and Research on Public Administration and Management are announced for the year 2026, under a competitive competition regime, in the following modalities: a) Andalusia in the spotlight. Award for study and research work in the area of the Autonomous Community of Andalusia that deals with the political, social and administrative organization of the Autonomous Community. b) Innovation in Public Administration. Award for study and research work on Public Administration, including international studies, that reflect on new ways of approaching the different areas of public action or involve innovative actions in their respective areas, related to their organization, functions, modernization of public service management, innovation in services and processes and application of new technologies. c) Transforming the Andalusian Administration from within. Award for work carried out by public employees of the different public administrations in the territory of the Autonomous Community, which preferably influence the study of their administrative practice, so that they can contribute to improving and streamlining the performance of functions and the provision of public services or to finding results for existing problems or dysfunctions. Second. Beneficiaries. Beneficiaries may be beneficiaries in modalities a) and b), both individuals and work teams formed for this purpose, of nationality of the Member States of the European Union and in modality c), they must also necessarily be public employees at the service of the Administration of the Junta de Andalucía, of the General Administration of the State in Andalusia, of the Entities that make up the Andalusian Local Administration or of the Administration of Justice that carry out their work in the territory of this Community. Autonomous. Third. Purpose To award the Blas Infante Awards for Study and Research on Public Administration and Management, as a measure to promote the study, information and dissemination of matters that affect public administrations, especially Andalusian public administrations. Room. Regulatory bases. Order of November 26, 2021 (BOJA no. 236, of December 10, 2021). Fifth. Amount. The maximum total amount allocated to the prizes is €15,000.00, which will be financed from budget item 2231010000 G/12B/48001/00 01 of the Budget of the Autonomous Community of Andalusia for 2026. Sixth.- Application submission deadline. Until September 15, 2026, starting on the day following the publication of this extract in the Official Gazette of the Junta de Andalucía, in accordance with the provisions of article 20.8 a) of Law 38/2003, of November 17, General Subsidies.
