Official description of the call

First.- Call for applications The I "CARLOS PERALES" RESEARCH AWARD FOR THE RECOVERY OF DEMOCRATIC MEMORY is announced. Second.- Objective Aimed at promoting scientific research, as well as the dissemination of knowledge on Democratic Memory by promoting a national award that serves to promote studies on said subject. Third-Beneficiaries All natural persons of any nationality who have turned 18 years of age at the time of closing of the period may participate. Fourth.- Applications The application will be formalized using a form that will be available on the website of the External Chair of the University of Cádiz of Historical and Democratic Memory, https//catedramemoria-historica.uca.es/#. The deadline for sending applications is set for April 30 of the current fiscal year 2026. The data that you voluntarily provide will be incorporated into a file whose person is responsible for the External Chair, and in all cases the Personal Data Protection Law and corresponding current regulations will apply. The following documentation must be attached: • Applicant contact information: names and surnames, postal address, telephone number and email address. • Copy of the applicant's DNI or other identification document. • Brief resume of the applicant in a maximum length of one page. • Copy of the complete work with which you are competing for the award without any signs of its authorship. • Sworn declaration of authorship and the date of defense of the work presented. Participation in the call implies acceptance of these Terms and failure to comply will result in the exclusion of the candidates and their applications. Fifth.- Resolution and amount of the prize A single prize of 6,000 euros will be awarded. Regardless, if the jury considers it appropriate, recognition mentions for other works may be issued without financial amount.
