Extract from the call: Resolution No. CGC/2026/1799, of February 26, 2026, of the Counselor of the Area of Institutional Cooperation and International Solidarity, by which grants are called to carry out awareness-raising and educational actions for sustainable development and global citizenship in 2026. Beneficiaries: NON-PROFIT ENTITIES and GRAN CANARIA CITY COUNCIL, as well as the Public Entities or Organizations linked or dependent on them that are responsible for the management of the activity, that meet the requirements established in the Regulatory Bases of the call. Purpose: The purpose of this competitive call is the granting of subsidies aimed at projects that are developed in Gran Canaria in 2026 and that are part of the so-called Education for sustainable development and global citizenship -EpDCG-, in accordance with Law 1/2023 of February 20, on Cooperation for Sustainable Development and Global Solidarity, pursuing the objective of promoting solidarity commitment initiatives, information activities and social awareness, campaigns and programs that enable the analysis of the reality of the most impoverished countries, the causes that perpetuate their situation of disadvantage and inequality with respect to the most developed countries, as well as the existing relationships between the problems that affect both worlds. Amount: €150,000 Deadline for submitting applications: The submission of applications will be made in THREE DEADLINES: From the day following the publication of this call in the BOP of Las Palmas until MARCH 31, 2026: based on the score obtained in the corresponding technical assessment, subsidies may be awarded up to a maximum of 50% of each budget application financing the call. From APRIL 1 to JUNE 30, 2026: based on the score obtained in the corresponding technical assessment, subsidies may be awarded up to a maximum of 25% of each funding budget application of the call.
