Official description of the call
First: Object. Aid for the distribution of feature-length films and sets of Spanish, community and Ibero-American short films intended for distribution in cinemas, mainly in the original version, that have been rated in Spain during 2024 and 2025, whose commercial release in Spain has taken place in the last quarter of 2024 or during 2025 provided that the distribution plan for the film in Spain has been carried out essentially on the aforementioned dates and that they meet certain requirements. Second: Beneficiaries. Independent distribution companies, in accordance with the provisions of article 4.ñ) of Law 55/2007, of December 28, that meet the requirements established in article 5 of Order CUD/508/2021, of May 25. Third: Regulatory bases. Order CUD/508/2021, of May 25, which establishes the regulatory bases for aid for the distribution of films provided for in article 28 of Law 55/2007, of December 28, on Cinema. Fourth: Amount. The total amount of this call amounts to 4,000,000 euros. The individual amount of each aid, with a maximum limit of 150,000 euros, may not exceed 50% of the following film distribution costs: printing of copies, subtitling, dubbing, advertising, promotion and measures against piracy, accessibility and sustainability. Fifth: Application submission deadlines. The deadline for submitting applications will be fifteen business days from the day following the publication of this extract in the Official State Gazette.
