Official description of the call
First. Beneficiaries. The town councils of municipalities belonging to the Autonomous Community of Cantabria that have a population of less than 5,000 inhabitants (according to the latest data published by ICANE prior to the publication of the call) may be beneficiaries of the aid. Second. Object. Call for the year 2026, on a competitive basis, aid to City Councils to carry out new works and/or improve their infrastructures for the development, modernization or adaptation of agriculture and livestock, including access to agricultural areas, the consolidation and improvement of lands, in accordance with its regulation in the Strategic Plan of the CAP 2023-2027 of Spain. Third. Regulatory bases. Order MED/12/2023, of April 18, which establishes the regulatory bases for aid to municipalities for the execution of new works and improvements to agricultural infrastructure for the period 2023-2027, published in the BOC of April 26, 2023 and by Order DES/35/2025, of November 28, which modifies the Order MED/12/2023, of April 18, which establishes the regulatory bases for aid to municipalities for the execution of new works and improvements to agricultural infrastructure for the period 2023-2027, published in the BOC of December 5, 2025. Fourth. Amount. 1. The total amount of aid that is called for the year 2026 amounts to 1,196,878.60 euros, which, as provided for in the PEPAC (Strategic Plan of the CAP) of Spain for the period 2023-2027, is co-financed by the European Agrarian Fund for Rural Development (EAFRD), the General Administration of the State and the Autonomous Community of Cantabria, with the following distribution: €311,497.12, by the Autonomous Community of Cantabria, charged to the budget application 05.03.414A.763.02 of the General Budgets of the Autonomous Community of Cantabria extended for the year 2026. €423,015.60, through the European Agricultural Fund for Rural Development (EAFRD). €462,365.88, through the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food. 2. The financing of this aid will be processed in accordance with the provisions of the eighteenth Additional Provision of the Law of Cantabria 14/2006, of October 24, on Finance of Cantabria. Fifth. Application submission deadline. 1.- Requests for aid will be directed to the Minister of Rural Development, Livestock, Fisheries and Food in accordance with the standardized model that appears as Annex I of this Resolution. Applications will be submitted only in the REC (Cantabria Electronic Registry: rec.cantabria.es), or in any other electronic registry provided for in article 134.8 of Law 5/2018, of November 22, on the Legal Regime of the Government, the Administration and the Institutional Public Sector of the Autonomous Community of Cantabria. 2.- The deadline for submitting applications will be 1 month from the day following the publication of the extract of the call in the Official Gazette of Cantabria. Each City Council may only submit a single application.
