CALL FOR THE APPLICATION AND GRANTING OF SUBSIDIES TO ENTITIES AND ASSOCIATIONS TO PARTICIPATE IN THE RUA DE CARNESTOLTES, UNDER A NON-COMPETITIVE COMPETITION REGIME, YEAR 2026

Official description of the call
First. Purpose The purpose is to define the set of conditions and the procedure to follow for the application, processing, granting, justification and payment of the subsidies granted by the Gavà City Council to non-profit entities and associations for their participation in the Rua de Carnestoltes 2026 organized by the Gavà City Council. There are 2 types of participation: a) Comparsa without float. b) Comparsa with float. The granting of these subsidies is compatible with the granting of subsidies for the same purpose, promoted by other entities, both public and private. Even so, the amount of aid received for the same purpose may not exceed the total cost of the activity. They will also be compatible with municipal subsidies awarded for other projects. They will not be compatible with other aid from Gavà City Council for the same object to be subsidized. Second. Beneficiary entities Non-profit entities and associations may be beneficiaries of the subsidies, which are duly registered in the Municipal Registry of Associations of Gavà, hereinafter Registry of Associations, or which at the time of formalizing the application have requested Third Party registration. The conditions and requirements To obtain the status of beneficiary entity of the subsidies referred to in this call, the entities will have to meet the following conditions and requirements: Have participated in the Carnestoltes Parade of the year 2026. Have their membership or delegation in the municipality of Gavà and be registered in the Municipal Registry of Associations of Gavà. Have correctly justified the subsidies previously granted by the Gavà City Council. Not be disqualified from contracting with Public Administrations or obtaining subsidies from them. Being at the end of the street in compliance with tax obligations with the City Council, the State Tax Administration Agency and Social Security. These facts will have to be justified by certificates proving the non-existence of tax and social security debts. The presentation of the subsidy application will entail the authorization of the requesting entity because the Gavà City Council directly verifies compliance with the obligations in this matter. However, the applicant may expressly deny consent, having to provide the corresponding certification. Quart. The application and the documentation to be delivered 4.1 The application The application will be made only through electronic means and from the following procedure: https://eseu.gava.cat/sta/carpetapublic/public?app_code=sta&PAGE_CODE=CATALOGO&DETALLO=6269000032186247807713&lang=can The City Council will verify ex officio the accreditation of the status of legal representative of the entity by making the consultation to the Registry of Associations. If the initiation request, including the mandatory submission through electronic means and the corresponding procedure, does not meet the required requirements, the representative of the interested entity will be required to, within a period of 10 business days, repair the lack or attach the mandatory documents, with an indication that, if he does not do so, he will be considered to withdraw his request. The presentation of the application will imply full acceptance of these bases. 4.2 The documentation to be delivered Interested entities will have to deliver the documentation specified in the corresponding procedure of the electronic office catalog, and detailed below. Standardized subsidy application model. Supporting account: List of expenses and investments Bank certification to transfer the amount of the subsidy. Only if the subsidy is requested for the first time or if there has been a change of bank account, the annex will have to be presented sealed by the bank or attaching the certificate of ownership of the account. Responsible declaration of the subsidies received from public or private institutions for this subsidy and commitment to communicate to the City Council those obtained in the future and declaration of no inability to obtain a subsidy.
