Official description of the call
First. Beneficiaries. Spanish citizens and citizens of Ibero-American countries may apply. Second. Object. The purpose of these Rules is to announce the 2026 Annual “Fernando Albi Awards” on Local Administration, which any Spanish or Latin American individual may attend. The works to be presented must be related to any topic related to the local Administration, or that directly affects said area, and must be original and unpublished until the moment of the jury's decision. They must have a minimum length of 80 pages and a maximum of 200, double spaced, Arial font, level 12, in Spanish or Valencian. The works will be anonymous, so they must not be signed or bear any inscription or sign, and they will be presented with a motto or title. Works that do not meet these requirements will not be admitted. Works with identical wording to those that have already been presented in previous editions cannot be submitted. If there is more than one author of the work/s that is awarded, the payment of the prize will be made effective: a) To each of the co-authors according to the proportion that they have determined in their applications. In the event that they have not determined the proportion, it will be carried out in equal parts to each of the co-authors of the work. b) Optionally, the amount of the prize may be awarded to only one of the co-authors if each of them has so determined in their applications. If this requirement is not duly accredited by all co-authors, the amount will be distributed as established in letter a). The Provincial Council will be exonerated from any liability that may arise from the application of the prize payment in the terms indicated in sections a) and b). Third. Regulatory bases. General Ordinance of Subsidies of the Excma. Provincial Council of Alicante (published in BOP number 11, of January 19, 2026) and Specific Rules included in the call that can be consulted on the electronic headquarters of its website (http://sede.diputacionalicante.es/). Room. Amount. The prize contains the following financial award. A first prize of 10,000 euros. A second prize of 3,000 euros, in the event that by decision of the Jury it is agreed to award a second work from among those presented. This call is subject to the advance processing procedure in accordance with the provisions of art. 56 of Royal Decree 887/2006, of July 21, which approves the Regulation of Law 38/2003, of November 17, General Subsidies, so the granting of the prize is conditional on the existence of adequate and sufficient credit at the time of the granting resolution. Fifth. Application submission deadline. The deadline for submitting works ends on November 30 of the current year.
