Official description of the call
First. Beneficiaries. All people who meet the following requirements may participate in this call: 1. Be of legal age. 2. Not be subject to any of the prohibitions to obtain the status of beneficiary included in article 13 of Law 38/2003, of November 17, General Subsidies. The beneficiary must be up to date with their legal, tax and Social Security obligations. 3. Be the author or co-author of the research work. In the case of works signed by several people, the main author may apply for the award. Second. Object. Financial funds are provided for a double award for research works published in 2024 or 2025, in Spanish or English, on Open Government, at the proposal of the Monitoring Commission of the Open Government Chair of the University of Castilla-La Mancha and the Community Board of Castilla-La Mancha, in collaboration with the Network of Open Government Chairs and the Open Government Academic Forum of the V Open Government Action Plan of Spain 2025-2029. Research works must be published in prestigious publishers or magazines, and must address, in a practical and applied manner, one or more of the following thematic lines, all of them related to Open Government: Transparency and access to public information; Citizen participation; Reuse of public information and open data; Integrity; Accountability; Collaboration and public innovation The call includes two categories of awards: Category Award “Book chapters and articles in specialized magazines” and Category Award “Books.” Third. Regulatory bases. Regulatory bases that form part of the full text of the call. Room. Amount of aid. The budget for this call amounts to 4,500 euros. The following gross amounts are established for the prizes: a) Prize Category “Book chapters and articles in specialized magazines”: financial award of 1,500 euros; b) “Books” Category Award: financial award of 3,000 euros. Fifth. Application submission deadline. The application submission period will remain open from the date of publication of the call until May 31, 2026.
