Official description of the call
First. Beneficiaries. Modality A Public research organizations of the General Administration of the State defined in article 47 of LCTI. Public universities, in accordance with the provisions of the LOSU, registered in the Registry of Universities, Centers and Degrees, created by Royal Decree 1509/2008, of September 12, which regulates the Registry of Universities, Centers and Degrees. Other public R&D centers: public organizations and centers with their own legal personality dependent on or linked to the General Administration of the State, and those dependent on or linked to territorial public administrations and their organizations, or majority owned by the public sector, regardless of their legal form. Public and private health entities and institutions linked or agreed to with the National Health System, or participated in by the Public Administration, that carry out research activity. State-level Technological Centers and Technological Innovation Support Centers, which are registered in the registry of centers on the date of submission of the application and maintain this condition throughout the period of the subsidized activity. Modalities B and C: All of the above, except for State-level Technological Centers and Technological Innovation Support Centers, which are registered in the registry of centers. Exceptionally, in Modality A, beneficiaries may be those entities that, although not located in the territory of the Principality of Asturias, organize congresses or activities to promote scientific, technological and innovation culture in said autonomous community that are considered of special relevance and interest for it from a scientific point of view, provided that the applications are endorsed and supported by a responsible researcher linked to a research organization based in the Principality of Asturias. Second. Purpose: The purpose of this call is the granting of subsidies on a competitive basis, to support: the organization of scientific conferences, the carrying out of scientific and technological dissemination and dissemination activities within the framework of the "Science Week" and other actions to raise awareness and dissemination of science and scientific culture, in any area of knowledge, that are developed in the territorial scope of the Principality of Asturias during the year 2026 and the first half of 2027. Third. - Regulatory bases. Resolution of July 2, 2024, of the Ministry of Science, Business, Training and Employment, approving the regulatory bases for activities related to the promotion and promotion of R&D&I in the Principality of Asturias under a competitive competition regime (BOPA No. 134 of 10-VII-2024). Room. - Amount. The maximum total amount to finance this call for grants is ONE HUNDRED AND FIFTY THOUSAND EUROS (€150,000), an amount that has been authorized by Resolution of the President of the Agency dated February 18, 2026. Fifth. Application submission deadline. The deadline for submitting applications will be from the calendar day following the publication of the extract in the Official Gazette of the Principality of Asturias until 2:00 p.m. on May 13, 2026, peninsular time in Spain.
