Extract from the call for subsidies for the promotion of editorial productions for the year 2026 Extract from the agreement of the Governing Board of March 17, 2026 by which the public call for subsidies is approved under a competitive competition regime for the promotion of editorial productions, year 2026. In accordance with the provisions of articles 17.3 b and 20.8 a of Law 38/2003, of 17 November, General Subsidies, the extract of the call is published, the full text of which can be consulted in the National Subsidies Database (http://www.pap.minhap.gob.es/bdnstrans): First. Beneficiaries Subsidies on a competitive basis for the edition of books published by publishing companies and non-profit entities in the Girona regions. Second. Purpose To subsidize editorial productions of cultural interest edited by publishers and non-profit organizations from the Girona regions that contribute to enriching the bibliographic heritage of the Girona regions. Third. Regulatory bases Specific regulatory bases for subsidies for the promotion of editorial productions, approved by the Plenary Session of the Provincial Council of Girona on December 16, 2025 and published to BOPG no. 246, of December 29, 2025. Fourth. Amount The total amount allocated to this call is 135,000.00 euros. The subsidies will be covered by the budgetary applications of the general budget of the Diputació de Girona for the year 2026, which are detailed below: ? Program for publishing books of local interest editors 303/33403/4790100 (ODS 04-16): Amount 105,000.00 euros. ? Program for publishing books of local interest ONL 303/33403/4810200 (ODS 04.16): Amount 30,000.00 euros. Fifth. Deadline and form for submitting applications The deadline for submitting applications is 20 business days from the day following the publication of the extract of the call in the BOP of Girona. The applications, together with the signatory accreditation document, duly completed and digitally signed by the person representing the entity, must be submitted through the Diputació de Girona subsidy platform. Applications must be signed electronically using one of the electronic signature systems accepted by the Diputació de Girona, specified in the electronic headquarters (https://seu.ddgi.cat/). Publishing companies can submit a maximum of two applications and non-profit entities a single subsidy application in each Sixth call. Justification Publications published between November 15, 2025 and November 15, 2026 will be subsidized. The deadline to justify the action ends on November 15, 2026. Requests to extend the justification period will not be accepted.
