Extract from the public call for subsidies under a competitive competition regime for publications of local interest published by municipalities for the year 2026 Extract from the agreement of March 17, 2026 of the Governing Board of the Diputació de Girona, by which subsidies are called under a competitive competition regime for publications of local interest published by municipalities for the year 2026. In accordance with the provisions of articles 17.3 b and 20.8 a of Law 38/2003, of November 17, General Subsidies, the extract of the call is published, the full text of which can be consulted in the National Subsidies Database (https://www.infosubvenciones.es/bdnstrans/GE/es/convocatoria/820319). First. Beneficiaries City councils and dependent organizations, as well as decentralized municipal entities in the Girona regions, can apply for this call. Second. Purpose To subsidize editorial productions of local interest published by the town councils of the Girona regions. Third. Regulatory bases Specific regulatory bases for subsidies for publications of local interest published by city councils, approved by the Plenary Session of the Provincial Council of Girona on December 16, 2025 and published in the BOP of Girona no. 246, of December 29, 2025. Fourth. Amount The total amount allocated to this call is 95,000.00 euros. Deadline for submitting applications The deadline for submitting applications is 20 business days from the day following the publication of the extract of the call in the BOPG. The applications, together with the signatory accreditation document, duly completed and digitally signed by the person representing the entity, must be submitted through the Diputació de Girona subsidy platform within the period established in the call. Sixth. Justification The deadline to justify subsidized editions will end on November 15 of the year of the call (2026). Requests to extend the subsidy justification period will not be accepted. If the deadline for submitting the justification falls on a Saturday or holiday, the aforementioned deadline will end on the following business day.
