Official description of the call
First. Beneficiaries: Natural persons who are not affected by any of the prohibitions contained in art. 13 of Law 38/2003, of November 17, General Subsidies (hereinafter LGS), and meet the condition of being, at least, 17 years of age. Second. Purpose: The purpose of these rules is to regulate the granting of subsidies, on a competitive basis, within the limits established in the municipal budgets, for the granting of subsidies for the prizes of the CFA Short Story Contest. Third. Regulatory bases: Considering the Plenary agreement of May 29, 2024 where the specific regulatory bases for the granting of subsidies for the Microstory Contest awards were approved, published in the Official Gazette of the province of Barcelona on June 7, 2025. Fourth. Amount: A financial prize of 200 euros will be awarded to the winning story. In addition, up to two entries may be awarded, each recognized with a cultural prize valued at 50 euros each, in accordance with the provisions of the rules. The total amount of the prizes, 300 euros, will be charged to the application 11.3262.48000. Fifth. Application submission deadline. The deadline for submitting applications for participation will begin on April 23, 2026 and will end on May 23, 2026.
