Official description of the call
Applicable Legislation. The applicable Legislation will be Law 38/2003, of November 17, General Subsidies and the Regulation that develops it, approved by Royal Decree 887/2006, of July 21, the sports sector legislation applicable in the area of Castilla y León, the Regulatory Bases for the granting of subsidies to School Centers, AMPAS and Sports Entities linked to a school center that participate in the School Games Program of the Salamanca City Council, approved by the Hon. Plenary Council of Salamanca in session held on March 6, 2020, and published in the Salamanca BOP no. 53, dated March 17, 2020, as well as the Execution Bases of the Municipal Budget of the Salamanca City Council, this call and other applicable regulations. Object. Call, for the year 2026, on a competitive basis, subsidies aimed at School Centers, AMPAS and Sports Entities linked to a School Center that participate in the School Games organized by the Sports Department of the Salamanca City Council, specifically in the programs specified in article 5.1. Beneficiaries. 1. School Centers, AMPAS or Federated Sports Clubs and Sports Sections linked to a School Center that, on the date of publication of this call, are enrolled in the Prebenjamín / Sports Initiation Program (in DEBA "multi-sports") or in the Competition Program according to the "Call for School Games 2025/2026 of the City Council of “Salamanca”. To this end, the Federated Sports Clubs and the Sports Sections must be linked to a School Center and are those that have been created to primarily attend to the extracurricular sports activities of the Center's students. 2. In the case of the Sports Sections, the status of applicant and beneficiary of the subsidy, for the purposes of acquiring rights and compliance with obligations, will be held by the legal entity in which the Sports Section is incorporated in the terms provided for in art. 41 of Law 3/2019, of February 25, on Physical-Sports Activity of Castilla y León. 3. The same School Center (or, where appropriate, AMPA, or sports entity linked to a school center) can submit a maximum of two applications: one for the Prebenjamín / Sports Initiation Program and another for the Competition Program. In that case, for the application, they will only present all the general documentation once, varying the specific ones. 4. Those Federated Sports Clubs that participate in School Games as an independent sports entity and are not linked to a School Center and whose primary objective is participation in federated competitions are expressly excluded from this call. 5. School Centers, AMPAS or Federated Sports Clubs and Sports Sections in which any of the circumstances established in the second and third sections of art. 13 of Law 38/2003, of November 17, General Subsidies. 6. The beneficiaries of these subsidies will be subject to the obligations that, in general, are established in article 14 of Law 38/2003, of November 17, General Subsidies. Budget allocation and application. The subsidies will be granted under the budgetary application of the 2026 budget No. 341.10-489.00 "Promotion and Promotion of Sports. Other transfers", for a total amount of 26,000 euros. Presentation deadline. The deadline for submitting the applications referred to in this call will be 20 calendar days counting from the day following the date of publication of an extract of this call in the Official Gazette of the Province of Salamanca (BOP) made through the BDNS. Applications and documentation. 1. The applications and the rest of the documentation required in this call will be available to interested parties on the Salamanca City Council website, https://aytosalamanca.es/juventud-y-deportes/programas-y-servicios.
