Call for strategic activities of entities

Official description of the call

In accordance with the provisions of articles 17.3b and 20.8a of Law 38/2003, of November 17, general on subsidies, the extract of the call is published, the full text of which can be consulted in the National Subsidies Database (http://www.pap.minhap.gob.es/bdnstrans) and in the electronic headquarters of the Provincial Council of Tarragona. TARRAGONA COUNCIL Culture Area of ​​Social and Cultural Promotion The Governing Board of the Tarragona Provincial Council in a session on March 24, 2026 has approved the following call. First. Beneficiaries Private non-profit and for-profit legal entities. Educational centers, family and parent associations and their federations, and neighborhood associations and their federations are excluded. Sports entities and social entities whose only main activity is sport and social action, respectively, are also excluded. Second. Purpose Contribute to the implementation, within the demarcation, of large-scale, territorially differentiating projects of public and social interest, which have an impact on the cultural and economic activation of the territory over time. Third. Subsidized activities Private non-profit legal entities Those activities, projects or actions that are of cultural interest that meet the following requirements can be accepted: • They are activities or actions that have been or will be carried out in the Tarragona district during 2026. • They are activities or actions that provide added value that has an impact inside and outside a municipality or territory, both on citizens in general and on the specific community or sector that they directly affect. • They are activities or actions that are original and that are only organized in the demarcation of Tarragona, and that distinguish and position the territory in the Catalan sphere due to its excellence and uniqueness in the matter. • They are activities or actions that have been carried out in the Tarragona district a minimum of 5 times in the last 11 years (including the current year of approval of the call), although the various editions have had different names over time. • These are activities or actions that have a minimum individualized eligible budget of 75,000 euros (without VAT), except in the case of typology 2.2.4. of activities or actions, that the minimum individualized eligible budget is €65,000. Private for-profit legal entities Those activities, projects or actions that are of cultural interest that meet the following requirements can be welcomed: • They are activities or actions that have been carried out or will be carried out in the Tarragona district during 2026. • They are activities or actions that provide added value that has an impact inside and outside a municipality or territory, both on citizens in general and on the specific community or sector that they directly affect. • They are activities or actions that are original and that are only organized in the demarcation of Tarragona, and that distinguish and position the territory in the Catalan sphere due to its excellence and uniqueness in the matter. • These are activities or actions that have been carried out in the Tarragona district a minimum of 7 times in the last 11 years (including the current year of approval of the call), although the various editions have had different names over time, which is accredited by means of a responsible declaration in the application form. • These are activities or actions that have a minimum individualized eligible budget of 80,000 euros (without VAT). • These are activities that create a network with the professional cultural sector of the region. Permanent or one-off services to citizens, multi-sector, sectoral and purely commercial gastronomic fairs, markets and festivals, and pilgrimages and major festivals are excluded. Excluded are investments, expenses financed through the Program.cat and E-Catàleg, and also those activities that have already been subsidized by agreement, nominative subsidy or other lines of subsidies from the Provincial Council of Tarragona on a competitive basis.
