Agreement of April 1, 2026 of the Plenary Session of the Excma. Provincial Council of Alicante by which subsidies are called in 2026 for the repair (Line A) and first establishment, reform or major repair (Line B) of hydraulic infrastructures.

Official description of the call

First. Beneficiaries: 1- Line A) Repair of hydraulic infrastructures: Municipalities (article 3.1, section a) of Law 7/1985, of April 2) and Entities with a territorial scope lower than the municipal area of ​​the province of Alicante; with deference to those entities that had not been beneficiaries in this same line of the previous call. The provision of the service will be assessed through direct management (article 85.2.A section a) of Law 7/1985, of April 2, Regulating the Bases of Local Regime). 2- Line B) Hydraulic infrastructure works: Municipalities and Associations of Municipalities (article 3.1, section a) and 3.2, section c) of Law 7/1985, of April 2) and Entities with a territorial scope lower than the municipal level of the province of Alicante; with deference to those entities that had not been beneficiaries in this same line of the previous call. Second. Purpose: Granting, during the year 2026, of subsidies intended to contribute to the financing of expenses derived from the execution of public works determined for each line, executed by local entities in the province of Alicante, in relation to hydraulic infrastructure or installations for supply, sanitation and stormwater of municipal jurisdiction, water purification and reuse, provided that the corresponding wastewater treatment plant (WWTP) is municipally owned. 1- Line A) Repair of hydraulic infrastructures: The purpose of Line A is to finance the works indicated when they are simple repair, conservation or maintenance works, in accordance with articles 232.4 (simple repair) and 232.5 (conservation and maintenance), of Law 9/2017, of November 8, on Public Sector Contracts, including, among other activities: - leak search operations that entail, in fact, a work of repair. - the necessary operations to correct the malfunctioning of hydraulic installations and systems. - actions at the overflow points of the sanitation networks aimed at avoiding unauthorized discharges. 2- Line B) Hydraulic infrastructure works: Line B is intended to finance the works indicated when it comes to works of first establishment, renovation or major repair, in accordance with articles 232.2 (first establishment), 232.3 (renovation) and 232.4 (major repair), of Law 9/2017, of November 8, on Public Sector Contracts, including, among other activities: - actions in water storage and distribution systems for urban uses not restricted, which save drinking water. - operations aimed at improving the performance and evaluation of groundwater collections intended for urban supply, such as acid development and gauging, as well as their disinfection operations. - investments in inventory material or equipment necessary for the execution of the corresponding hydraulic infrastructure. Third. Regulatory bases: General Subsidies Ordinance approved by the Plenary of the Excma. Provincial Council of Alicante, in an extraordinary session on December 19, 2025, published on its Electronic Headquarters, at the following address, and Specific Rules included in the call. https://sede.diputacionalicante.es/otros/normativa-diputacion-alicante-y-grupo-local/ Fourth. Amount: The maximum total amount allocated to financing the call is established at 1,300,000.00 euros, in accordance with the following: - Line A) Repair of hydraulic infrastructures. Maximum total amount: 300,000.00 euros (subsidies for current expenses). - Line B) Hydraulic infrastructure works. Maximum total amount: 1,000,000.00 euros (capital subsidies). An increase is planned for the amount of 650,000.00 euros, of which 150,000.00 euros will be applied to line A) and 500,000.00 euros will be applied to line B), the incorporation of which will not require a new call, the effectiveness of this additional amount being conditional on the prior approval of the appropriate budget modification. The maximum amount of the subsidy will be the result of applying the following percentage, based on the number of inhabitants of the beneficiary according to the last registry published by the INE prior to the date of submission of the application, to the eligible budget: -Up to 2,000 inhabitants: 100 per 100. -Between 2,001 and 10,00
