Official description of the call

Festivals 2026 of the Castelló City Council RULES OF THE XXX FESTIVAL POSTER CONTEST 2026 First. Purpose and object. Call for the Poster Contest announcing the Major Festivals and Moors and Christians 2026 under a competitive competition regime. The winning poster will serve as the cover of the Book of Major Festivals and Moors and Christians and may be used as an identifying element of the festivals on any object or printed material that is published to publicize the festive event. Second. Requirements of the participating people. All people can participate without age limit. Each participant may present a maximum of 2 posters. The posters will be presented by email to the following address: festes@castellosom.com, indicating in the subject of the email “Festes 2026 Poster Contests”. In addition, two files must be attached, one in Word format (.doc): where the author's personal information, a contact telephone number and the motto or mottos of the posters will appear. The other will be the image of the poster, in JPG format with a maximum size of 10 MB. Third. Characteristics of the poster. The posters will have a vertical format and the sizes will be 42x29'7 cm (DIN A 3), they will be original and unpublished, with complete technical freedom as long as their reproduction does not pose any difficulty. The theme of the posters must be related to the Major Festivals and the Moors and Christians, inserting the text: Castelló en Festes. August 2026. The posters presented may be publicly displayed. Room. Evaluation criteria and jury. Design. Originality and innovation: up to 5 points. Transmission of the meaning and values ​​of the Castelló Festivals: Up to 5 points. The jury: It will be equal, there will be 4 people related to the world of plastic arts and the person who holds the Department of Culture or delegate. Fifth. Budget credit and prize amount. The award will be charged to budget application 3380-48902. The contest will have a prize of €500. The winning poster will become the property of the Castelló City Council. Sixth. Application submission deadline. The deadline for submitting applications will begin the day following the publication of the extract of the call in the BOP and will end at 11:59 p.m. on June 26, 2026, and can be submitted to the email festes@castellosom.com, or through the electronic headquarters of the Castelló City Council, www.castellosom.com in accordance with Law 39/2015, of October 1, on the Common Administrative Procedure of the Administrations.
