Official description of the call
Extract from the agreement of the Local Government Board dated April 7, 2026, by which the Awards are announced for boys and girls who participate in sports competitions, for the year 2026. First.- Beneficiaries. Boys and girls athletes aged between 6 and 12 years (year of birth between 2014 and 2020) from Burjassot who prove sporting prominence, in accordance with the criteria established in article 6, at the time of the end of the application submission period, may obtain beneficiary status. Applicants must meet the following requirements: a) Be up to date with their tax obligations with the State Tax Administration Agency, the Territorial Treasury of Social Security and with the Burjassot City Council. Accreditation of compliance with the obligation to be up to date with the Burjassot City Council will be carried out ex officio by the City Council, at the request of the management service of this subsidy, through the issuance of a positive administrative certification, in accordance with article 9 of the General Subsidies Ordinance. b) Not have pending refunds of subsidies from previous years. c) Be registered in the municipality of Burjassot. It will be verified ex officio by the investigating body of the procedure. d) Be in possession of a valid license from a sports federation of the Valencian Community, or Spanish if there is no regional implementation of the sports modality or specialty, accredited by the corresponding federation. e) Participate in National, Regional or Provincial Championships. f) Not having been firmly sanctioned for a disciplinary or administrative infraction in sports matters. g) Not be a beneficiary of any other aid that has the same purpose granted by this administration. h) Not be subject to any of the prohibitions to obtain the status of beneficiary of subsidies provided for in article 13 of Law 38/2003, of November 17, general subsidies. Obligations: a) Comply with the obligations established in article 14 of Law 38/2003 of November 17, General Subsidies and article 8 of the General Subsidies Ordinance approved by the Burjassot City Council. b) Provide adequate publicity of the public nature of the financing of the programs, activities, investments or actions of any type that are the subject of this subsidy, in compliance with the obligation contained in article 18.4 of the General Law of Subsidies 38/2003, which states that the entities in their capacity as beneficiaries of the subsidy undertake to provide adequate publicity of the financing of activities that are the object of the subsidy. c) Accredit the sports results obtained between September 1, 2025 and August 31, 2026, as established in article 6. Second.- Purpose. 1. The purpose of this call is to regulate the granting of awards to athletic boys and girls from Burjassot between 6 and 12 years old, in order to distinguish, promote and recognize sporting performance, the culture of effort and excellence. 2. The purpose sought is to support the sports practice and performance of minor athletes to improve their participation in sports competitions, as well as to achieve adequate technical training in their sports specialty, taking into account the objectives set out in the Strategic Subsidy Plan 2026-2028. 3. The activities subject to the awards will be those carried out between September 1, 2025 and August 31, 2026. Third.- Regulatory bases. The amount of these prizes will be paid from the credit of the current budget of Municipal Item 341 48101 “Minor Sports Scholarship Aid Awards”. The maximum amount allocated to these subsidies will be 2,500 euros. Fifth.- Presentation deadline.
