Official description of the call
1. Object and purpose The purpose of these rules is to regulate and establish the criteria and procedure for the application, processing, granting, collection and justification of the subsidies granted by the entity through Economic Promotion intended to finance projects/activities of restaurant establishments that have made investments in soundproofing, in order to improve the acoustic impact of their premises and guarantee coexistence. 2. Execution period and calls The subsidies granted under these bases must be used to finance expenses developed or executed during the period between January 1, 2025 and July 31, 2026. 3. Requirements of the beneficiaries The beneficiaries of these subsidies will be those applicants who meet the requirements indicated below: - Establishments in the restaurant sector located in the urban centers of Sant Pere de Ribes; Ribes and/or Les Roquetes, including catering activities, restaurants, cafes, bars and establishments with catering services within the establishment. - Having made or making an investment in soundproofing within the period between January 1, 2025 and July 31, 2026. - With an area of less than 400 m2 and with less than 10 workers. - The economic activity must be registered during the subsidy processing process. - Be registered as a company in the XALOC Network or submit a registration application at the time of applying for aid. The beneficiaries of the aid are the economic activities, specifically those linked to the restaurant establishment, the object of the action. An establishment can be a beneficiary of a single aid. The beneficiary of the aid is the economic activity, regardless of the legal form it has and the number of partners or self-employed workers who participate. Any establishment that is not in the restaurant sector is excluded. 4. Amount of the subsidy The amount to be awarded will be calculated based on the total cost of the action, VAT excluded, and will be 50% of the eligible expenses, with a maximum of €5,000.00 per beneficiary and according to the available aid budget. 5. Deadline, form and place for submitting applications The deadline for submitting applications and documentation will be 45 calendar days from the day following the date of publication of the call in the Official Gazette of the Province of Barcelona or until the budget approved by this call is exhausted. The procedure for granting the subsidies regulated in these regulatory bases will be non-competitive competition. Both the request, the procedure and the Justification will vary depending on whether the soundproofing actions have been executed or are pending execution at the time of submission of the application: a) ACTIONS ALREADY EXECUTED: The soundproofing project or works have already been carried out at the time of the request. b) ACTIONS PENDING EXECUTION: The soundproofing project or works have not yet been carried out at the time of the request. a) ACTIONS ALREADY EXECUTED: To request aid it will be necessary to present the documentation required in point 7, starting the day after the publication of these bases in the BOPB, within a period of 45 calendar days and by generic instance. Once the application is registered, the Assessment, Granting and Justification will be carried out, both in ordinary and extraordinary calls following the following stages: • Assessment: The technical service will carry out the assessment of the files. If a lack of documentation and/or information is detected in any file, the proceeding will be in accordance with what is specified in point 10 of these Bases. • Granting and Justification: The approval of the subsidy and justification that corresponds to each request and the amount resulting from the aid, as well as the proposal for payment of the aid, will be proposed to the Local Government Board or competent body. The Resolution of the files will be notified to the companies by electronic notification to the email provided in the application. • The payment of the subsidy granted will be made in one go and after the Resolution of the file. Payment will be made by transfer to the benefit's bank account.
