Official description of the call
First. Beneficiaries The beneficiaries are non-profit sports entities based in Ripoll or those that develop a sporting event with great sporting, social and economic impact in Ripoll. An athlete registered in Ripoll, who participates individually or collectively in official international competitions, recognized by the corresponding sports federation, may also be a beneficiary. Second. Purpose The regulatory bases approved for this purpose contemplate three programs. A. Support program for the ordinary operation of Ripoll sports entities. It is intended to finance ordinary operating expenses of the entities and the organization of a specific activity (campus, tournaments...) from September 2025 to June 2026. B. Support program for the organization of specific sporting events. It is intended to finance expenses for unusual, extraordinary sports activities organized by an entity in Ripoll. It can also be requested by sports entities with headquarters outside Ripoll that carry out activities with a strong sporting, social and economic impact on our municipality. Activities organized from January 1 to December 31, 2026 may be subsidized. C. Support program for federated athletes of the municipality. Aimed at federated Ripoll athletes for participating in international championships, individually or collectively, as long as they do not have funding for their participation. It can be requested for competitions organized from January 1 to December 31, 2026. Third. Regulatory bases The Ripoll City Council approves this call for subsidies in accordance with the specific regulatory bases approved by the Ripoll City Council in a plenary session dated February 24, 2026 and published in the BOP Girona 46 dated March 9, 2026. Fourth.- Amount The amount of the budget allocation intended for the promotion of sporting activity 2026 is 46,700.00 euros, charged to budget item 11240 3400 48000 of the year 2026. Fifth. Application submission deadline The deadline for submission of applications will be 20 business days for Program A from the publication of the extract of the call in the Official Gazette of the Province of Girona (both inclusive). For Program B and C, the deadline for submitting applications will end on September 15, 2026. Sixth.- Maximum amount of the subsidy The maximum amount of the subsidy will be: For Program A, the maximum total amount of the subsidy awarded may not be greater than the amount of 6,000.00 euros nor less than 300.00 euros. For Program B, the maximum total amount of the subsidy awarded may not exceed the amount of 3,000.00 euros or 50% of the cost of the event. For Program C, the maximum total amount of the subsidy awarded may not exceed the amount of 400 euros. Seventh.
