Official description of the call
First: Purpose The General Directorate of Cultural Heritage and Fine Arts, by delegation of the Secretary of State for Culture, in accordance with Fourth.2d Order CLT/1527/2025, of December 23, on the setting of limits for the administration of certain credits for expenses and delegation of powers, calls for aid for artistic production and research in the field of contemporary art whose purpose is to support artists and researchers, with the aim of promoting creation, research and production, promoting the presence and visibility of artists' projects and works. The lines of aid that can be requested in this call are: A – Artistic creation and production: carrying out creation and production projects for artists. B – Research, curating and mediation projects in the field of contemporary art: carrying out research projects in the fields of history, theory, education, mediation and curating, as well as publications derived from these projects that contain unpublished research or content. The aforementioned lines are incompatible with each other, so each applicant may only request help for one of them. The projects will respect the regulatory regulations on intellectual property, in particular, Royal Legislative Decree 1/1996, of April 12, which approves the Consolidated Text of the Intellectual Property Law and its implementing regulations (BOE no. 97, of April 22, 1996). The mentioned concepts are incompatible with each other, so each applicant may only request help for one of them. The eligible activity must be carried out, at most, until June 30, 2027. Second: Beneficiaries 1. Natural persons who carry out the activities referred to in section One.2 and meet the requirements established in this Resolution and in current regulations on subsidies may apply for this call for aid. In the case of projects developed by groups or associations, only one member of the group can benefit from the aid, preserving the copyright of the group. 2. The applicant must be registered in the Special Registry of Self-Employed Workers prior to the publication of the final list of beneficiaries, in the terms established in article Eleventh.5. However, this requirement will not be necessary at the time of submitting the application. 3. The beneficiaries may only be those who have permanent tax residence in Spanish territory. 4. Any of the beneficiaries of this aid in the call corresponding to the previous year are excluded from this call. However, those who, being beneficiaries of aid in the previous year's call, have repaid the aid received for justified reasons, before the date of publication of the extract of this resolution, may participate. 5. Those who meet any of the circumstances provided for in article 13 of Law 38/2003, of November 17, General Subsidies, will not be able to obtain the status of beneficiary. Third: Regulatory bases Order CUL/2912/2010, of November 10, which establishes the regulatory bases for the granting of public subsidies under a competitive competition regime of the Ministry of Culture and its public organizations. Published in the B.O.E. no. 275, of November 13, 2010. Fourth: Amount The financing of the aid will be charged to the credits of the General Directorate of Cultural Heritage and Fine Arts of the expense budget of the Ministry of Culture, with the following budgetary application: 24.05.333B.478.03. The maximum amount destined to finance this call is €1,000,000.00. The distribution of the amount among the beneficiaries will be limited to: 30,000 euros for projects that fall under line A and 15,000 euros for projects that fall under line B. Fifth: Deadline for submitting applications The deadline for submitting applications will be 15 business days, counting from the day following the publication of the extract of this resolution in the Official State Gazette.
