Official description of the call

1.-Regulatory bases In accordance with the provisions of article 70 of Organic Law 1/2007, of February 28, on the reform of the Statute of Autonomy of the Balearic Islands, and article 96.2 of Law 4/2022, of June 28, on island councils, this call is governed by the provisions of Legislative Decree 2/2005, of December 28, by which the consolidated text of the CAIB subsidy law and the rest of the applicable regulations are approved. This call is made within the framework of the General Subsidy Ordinance of the Island Council of Mallorca, approved by the Plenary Session of the Council of Mallorca, in a session of December 23, 2016, BOIB no. 21, of February 18, 2017, and modified by Plenary Agreement of June 14, 2018, BOIB no. 96, of August 4, 2018. 2.- Object The purpose of this public call is the granting of subsidies to non-profit entities that carry out projects and activities whose purpose is to support, empower and improve the living conditions of people in the context of prostitution in the foreign part of Mallorca. The subsidized initiatives will have to be aimed at both prevention and social awareness about prostitution, as well as comprehensive care for people who are in or at risk of prostitution, through the offer of care and support services, psychosocial support and access to educational, employment and health resources. Likewise, actions aimed at citizens and professionals from various areas of intervention (social services, health, security forces...) may be included to promote a critical vision towards prostitution, with the aim of promoting greater social awareness about the structural causes of prostitution. 3.-Beneficiary entities Entities and associations that meet the following requirements can participate in this call for subsidies: a) Be non-profit social initiative entities and associations that carry out projects and activities in the foreign part of Mallorca. b) The entity must be legally constituted in accordance with current regulations, registered and active on the start date of the period to submit applications. c) The statutes of the entity must provide for the activity that is the object of the subsidized project. d) Have legal capacity and capacity to act. e) Be up to date with tax and Social Security obligations before the State Administration, as well as tax obligations before the Island Council of Mallorca. f) Not having been sanctioned, by means of a final resolution, with the loss of the possibility of obtaining subsidies in accordance with the General Law of Subsidies or other laws that establish it. g) Not incur any of the remaining circumstances provided for in article 8 of the Subsidies Ordinance, as well as article 13 of Law 38/03, General Subsidies. h) Be up to date with payment of obligations for reimbursement of subsidies in the terms determined in the RLGS. i) Have sufficient capacity and have a technical team specialized in the field to guarantee compliance with the objectives of the project presented. For this purpose, an affidavit must be submitted. To obtain the status of beneficiary entity, the requirements established in article 8 of the General Subsidy Ordinance must be met and the prohibitions established in article 10 of Legislative Decree 2/2005 TRLS must not be incurred. Specifically, article 10.1.j) of the aforementioned Decree must be complied with, which refers to article 42.a) of the Law on the promotion of safety and health at work, which establishes the obligation to have a preventive management system in one of the modalities provided and an occupational risk prevention plan in the terms provided for in Law 31/1995, of November 8, on the prevention of occupational risks. Likewise, the beneficiary entity must comply with the obligations set forth in article 9 of the Subsidy Ordinance of the Council of Mallorca and article 11 of Legislative Decree 2/2005 TRLS. 4.-Eligible expenses Eligible expenses are considered to be those expenses that, without a doubt, respond to the nature of the subsidized activity, are strictly necessary and are carried out
