Official description of the call
First. Call.The Vice-Rector for Equality, Healthy Campus and Social Justice calls for competitive aid, aimed at the participation of students of the University of Huelva, for carrying out activities in developing countries, for international volunteering in the field of Development Cooperation. These actions will be carried out in the period between the day following the publication in the Official Gazette of the Junta de Andalucía of the call and November 30, 2026. The aid is distributed as follows: - Three aid for undergraduate students. - One aid for master's students. In the case of vacant places in any of the categories (undergraduate students/master's students), they may be covered with the substitutes of the other. These aids are compatible with other aids or forms of financing that the beneficiary may obtain or receive, except those that are convened by the Vice-Rectorate of Equality, Healthy Campus and Social Justice of the University of Huelva that are granted through the competitive competition system and involve occupying a place for the same period of stay. In cases of not carrying out the international volunteer stay for which the aid was granted, the Negative report of their activity by the destination entity or failure to comply with the required time, the beneficiary will not be able to attend future calls from the Vice-Rector's Office for Equality, Healthy Campus and Social Justice. Second. Regulatory Bases. Rectoral resolution of September 30, 2025, of the University of Huelva, which approves the “Regulatory bases for scholarships and aid for international mobility of the University of Huelva”, published in BOJA of October 6, 2025. Third. Financing. The budget item allocated to this call will be: − Expenditure Center 800076 – Program 821I – Economic Classification 480.99 – Amount: €6,800. Four financial grants of up to €1,700 will be granted. The amount set for each destination covers, up to the maximum indicated, travel expenses, accommodation, subsistence and travel insurance with coverage for illness, accident, repatriation and civil liability. Expenses that exceed the established amount will be borne by the beneficiary. These aids are compatible with other aids or forms of financing that the beneficiary may obtain or receive, except those that are convened by the Vice-Rector's Office for Equality, Healthy Campus and Social Justice of the University of Huelva that are awarded through the competitive application system and involve occupying a place for the same period of stay. Fourth. Beneficiaries. This financial aid may be requested by undergraduate and master's students enrolled at the UHU both at the time of making the application and during the development of the volunteer activity and who, in addition, have not been beneficiaries of this same aid in the previous calls. All beneficiaries of the aid will receive, prior to carrying out the international volunteering, information on the activities to be carried out and the entity or NGO that receives them. They must attend, if so determined, a training day, which will be organized by the International Cooperation Directorate. Fifth. Deadline for submitting applications. The deadline for submitting applications will begin the day after its publication in BOJA and will end 10 business days later; However, if this period includes non-teaching days at the UHU, the period will be increased by as many business days as it includes non-teaching days.
