Official description of the call
1. Purpose of the subsidy. The object of this call is to regulate the bases for granting subsidies to non-profit cultural agents and associations of the municipality of Azkoitia to carry out projects and ordinary activities throughout the year or course. 2. Amount and item of the subsidy. The total amount of the subsidies will not exceed the appropriation allocated for the aforementioned purpose; that is, 27,000 euros. The expense will be charged to the following budget item: Subsidies to cultural associations 1 3100.481.334.00.01 2026 Taking into account that the subsidies that the Azkoitia City Council allocates to cultural activities are divided into two lines (2026PUNT0006 and 2025PUNT0007), and all of them are financed through the aforementioned budget item in the matter, if there are subsidy applications for an amount lower than the expenditure foreseen in the call for a subsidy line or if the competent body has decided not to grant the entire subsidy, the body competent to resolve may agree to an increase in the allocation of a subsidy line by the amount of said unused amount. In these cases, a new call will not be necessary and the modification will be published on the BDNS platform. In any case, the total amount of the budget item may not exceed 50,000 euros. 3. General criteria. The program and activities of the cultural associations and cultural agents must coincide with the general objectives of the Azkoitia City Council and with the objectives of the cultural programs. The subsidy is voluntary and provisional. Its concession will not imply any obligation for the City Council for the next calls. These subsidies are compatible with others, in which case it must be indicated that other subsidies have been requested for the same activity. 4. Applicants. The following may apply for subsidies: • Legally constituted organizations, associations and groups. • People or groups of people associated for the same purpose who carry out cultural or leisure activities. Activities that receive financial contributions by contract or agreement with the Azkoitia City Council will be excluded from the call. 5. Submission of applications. The call for the submission of applications will be open, and a period of one month will be granted for the submission of applications from the publication of this call in the Official Gazette of Gipuzkoa. The following documentation must be provided: a) First-time subsidy applicants. • Certificate of registration in the registry of associations or entities of the Basque Government or in the municipal registry of associations. • Proof issued by a bank or savings bank that the applicant has opened a current account. • Curriculum vitae of the association: activities carried out to date, objectives, human and material resources, etc. b) For all those who submit an application: • Application form duly completed and signed. • Brief report from the applicant that includes what is specified in point seven of these bases. • Annual activity plan: deadlines and dates in which they will be carried out, methodology, objectives, population groups for which it has been designed, etc. • Annual or course budget, clearly specifying the expected expenses and income. • Affidavit containing the applications or, where applicable, the subsidies granted to other committees, organizations, etc. Failure to present this documentation will result in the waiver of receiving the subsidy. Likewise, the concealment or falsification of data will give rise to the loss of the right to receive this or subsequent subsidies. In the event that the application is not completed correctly or any document is missing, a period of 10 days will be granted for its correction and, if it has not been completed within this period, it will be automatically archived. In the event that in previous years there have been changes in the data of the applicant entities or groups, they must provide the required documentation for the first applications. The Azkoitia City Council will verify the following requirements, established in these specific bases, through the services of the data intermediation platform or other administrations.
