Official description of the call
First. Object 1.- The purpose of the subsidies of this call is to finance dining aid for children and adolescents enrolled in any of the courses of second cycle early childhood education (I3-I5), primary education, secondary education and special education in educational centers in the municipality of Santa Perpètua de Mogoda, which obtain public funds from Catalonia, on a competitive basis. 2.- These subsidies will be compatible and complementary with those granted by the Regional Council of El Vallès Occidental for the same purpose. 3.- The maximum price to be subsidized is established at 7.83 euros/day/student when the midday slot has a maximum duration of two and a half hours. In those schools in which the midday period has a maximum duration of two hours, the maximum price to be subsidized will be 7.41 euros/day/student. Second. Beneficiaries Families with children and adolescents enrolled in any of the courses of second-cycle early childhood education, primary education, secondary education and special education in educational centers in the municipality of Santa Perpètua de Mogoda, supported with public funds from Catalonia, may be beneficiaries of these subsidies, as long as they are not affected by any of the prohibitions. 13 of Law 38/2003, of November 17, General Subsidies (hereinafter LGS). Due to the nature of this subsidy and to obtain beneficiary status, it will not be necessary to prove compliance with the requirements established in article 13.2.e) of the LGS. Third. Regulatory bases The specific regulatory bases for the granting of subsidies under a competitive competition regime were approved by the Local Government Board in a session on December 23, 2025 and published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Barcelona (BOPB) on December 31, 2025. Fourth. Amount The maximum budget that will be allocated this 2026-2027 academic year for the granting of the subsidies object of this call will be charged to the budget application 3401-2312-48005 Action S. School dining scholarships distributed as follows: For the months of September to December 2026 an amount of €60,000.00 charged to the budget application 3401-2312-48005 of 2026 and for the months of January to June 2027 an amount of €85,000.00 charged to budget application 3401-2312-48005 of 2027. Fifth. Deadline for submitting applications The initial deadline for submitting applications will be from MAY 11 to 31, both included. Outside of this period, applications will not be attended to except for: - Cases of children who have recently arrived in the municipality from the day following the last day of submission of applications accredited by a registration form - Situations of sudden vulnerability, understanding this situation as one that: having submitted the application within the period established in this call, assessed and scaled, the socio-familial and/or economic situation has changed considerably subsequently. That is, situations that have suffered significant variations in the socio-familial and/or economic situation and that this situation of change causes a very serious impact that makes it difficult to guarantee the basic needs of the beneficiary. This situation of sudden vulnerability must also be accredited by the applicant, providing documentation proving such circumstance.
