First. Purpose To regulate the procedure for granting the XXXIII Manuel Lueiro Rey Second Short Novel Prize. Beneficiaries. Any natural person, except the winners of the last four editions (XXIX to XXXII), who submits their text in the Galician language, in accordance with current spelling standards, may compete for this award. Third. Regulatory Bases Approved by agreement of the Local Government Board dated 04/20/2026 that will be published on the notice board, on the electronic headquarters of the City Council and by the usual means. Quarter. Amount of the prize This short novel prize is endowed with 3,000 euros, charged to budget application 3321.48100 of the expenditure budget for the year 2026. The amount is subject to the corresponding tax withholding for the legally established concepts. Fifth.
