Universidad Rey Juan Carlos Resolution dated May 7, 2026 of the Rector of the Universidad Rey Juan Carlos, which approves and makes public the call and its corresponding regulatory bases for the granting, through a competitive competition procedure, of the III edition of the “Gloria Fuertes - URJC awards” for final degree projects, final master's degrees and doctoral theses related to studies with a gender perspective, sexual diversity and diversity by origin. In accordance with the provisions of articles 17.3.b and 20.8.a of Law 38/2003, of November 17, General Subsidies, the extract of the Call is published, the full text of which can be consulted in the National Subsidies Database (https://www.pap.hacienda.gob.es/bdnstrans/GE/es/convocatorias). First: Beneficiaries The recipients of these awards are students of the Rey Juan Carlos University who have defended their TFG, TFM or Doctoral Thesis during the calendar year 2025, with a minimum grade of 8.5 for TFG and TFM and outstanding for Doctoral Thesis. To obtain the awards object of this call, the beneficiaries must meet the requirements established therein, as well as maintain them until the completion of the entire award process. General Requirements Having defended the work (TFG, TFM or doctoral thesis) during the year 2025 (calendar year) at the Rey Juan Carlos University, provided that it has been graded with a minimum grade of 8.5 in the case of TFG and TFM, and outstanding in the case of Doctoral Theses. Have written the work in Spanish or English. Other languages will be admitted as long as the original version is presented accompanied by its translation. Having been carried out by one author or by several authors. In the case of group works, the prize will be distributed equally among its co-authors. People who attend must indicate the category they are opting for (equality or diversity). The presentation of the same work in both categories will be grounds for exclusion. The same work cannot be submitted to the 2026 Call for Awards for the best TFG, TFM and doctoral theses related to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) of the Rey Juan Carlos University. Your presentation in both calls will be grounds for exclusion in both. Those who fall into any of the circumstances included in article 13.2 of Law 38/2003, of November 17, General Subsidies, will not be able to obtain the status of beneficiary. Second Objective The purpose of this call is to encourage and promote at the URJC knowledge related to equality between women and men, sexual and gender diversity, and ethnic-cultural and origin diversity, through Final Degree Projects (TFG), Final Master's Projects (TFM) and Doctoral Theses. To this end, prizes will be awarded on a competitive basis to undergraduate, master's and doctoral students whose work addresses these contents, in any of the areas of knowledge included in Annex I of Royal Decree 822/2021, of September 28, which establishes the organization of university teaching and the procedure for ensuring its quality. Fourth Amount The maximum amount of the prizes subject to this call will be 9,600 euros, which will be attributed to the following budget applications: 4,800 Euros to the application 30.VC.RS.UI.423B.483.00 “Scholarships, training and others” (Equality Unit) and 4,800 Euros to the application 30.VC.RS.DI.423B.483.00, “Scholarships, training and others” (Diversity Unit), from the budgets of the Vice-Rector's Office for Social Responsibility, Culture and Sports.
