Official description of the call

In accordance with the provisions of articles 17.3.b and 20.8.a of Law 38/2003, of November 17, General Subsidies, the extract of the call is published, the full text of which can be consulted in the National Subsidies Database (https://www.pap.hacienda.gob.es/bdnstrans/GE/es/convocatorias), as well as in the Transparency Portal of the Principality of Asturias, in compliance with the provisions of current regulations regarding transparency in public activity. First.-Beneficiaries. Local Entities located within the territorial scope of the Autonomous Community of the Principality of Asturias. Second.-Object. Promote the implementation of tourist signage projects that contribute to facilitating visitor mobility in the territory Third.-Regulatory bases: Common regulatory bases for granting subsidies to local entities approved by Resolution of May 26, 2023, of the Ministry of Culture, Language Policy and Tourism, published in the BOPA of June 2, 2023. Fourth.-Amount. Total amount: One hundred thousand euros (100,000.00 euros). Fifth.- Deadline for submitting applications: The deadline for submitting applications will be fifteen (15) calendar days, counting from the day following the publication of the public call for this extract in the Official Gazette of the Principality of Asturias. If the last day of the period falls on a non-business day, the period will be extended until the first following business day. Sixth.-Criteria and limits for the concession. Criteria: The assessment criteria that will be taken into account for the granting of subsidies will be those established in the eleventh base of the Regulatory Bases for granting subsidies to local entities approved by Resolution of May 26, 2023, of the Ministry of Culture, Language Policy and Tourism, published in the BOPA of June 2, 2023. Limits: The amount to be granted in no case may exceed the 5,000 euros per project, unless once the available amounts have been prorated in accordance with the established criteria, there are surpluses to distribute, as a consequence of the application of said limit. In this case, these will be distributed proportionally, applying the same distribution percentage that results in the first phase of assessment when applying the criteria established in the eleventh base and prior to the application of the limit, until the limit of expenditure approved for the call is exhausted. The amount of the subsidies may in no case be of such an amount that, alone or in conjunction with other subsidies, income aid or resources, it exceeds the cost of the subsidized activity. As long as this limit is not exceeded, the subsidies obtained under these regulatory bases will be compatible with any others granted by public administrations or private entities. Likewise, with the limit of the maximum amounts established in each subsidy line, the maximum contribution to each action is established, in general, taking as a reference the legal population of each local or supramunicipal entity: a), Up to 90% of the budget for those with less than 5,000 inhabitants. b), Up to 80% to those between 5,000 and 20,000 inhabitants. c), Up to 70% to those between 20,001 and 50,000 inhabitants. d), Up to 50% for those with more than 50,000 inhabitants. The population entitled to be considered in each local or supramunicipal entity will be that corresponding to the official population figures for the year immediately preceding the call published by the National Institute of Statistics. Seventh.-Other information of interest. In the electronic headquarters of the Principality of Asturias (https://sede.asturias.es) the Service Sheet is published, which can be located by entering the code AYUD0040T01, in the search engine called "All services and procedures" obtaining the result that links to the aforementioned Sheet, in which the full text of the Resolution, complementary information, the standard application form and the possibility of starting the application electronically are located. Justification period: The justification of the realization of the subsidized expense must be carried out before January 31, 2027, in the manner established in the fifteenth base of the Resolution of May 26, 2023.
