Official description of the call
First.- Object and scope of application. The resolution aims to call for the year 2026, on a competitive basis, subsidies for projects and initiatives whose purposes are the promotion, promotion and alignment of public policies, as well as the carrying out of activities for the strengthening and implementation of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development, in accordance with the provisions of article 1 of Ministerial Order DSA/921/2021, of September 1, which establishes the regulatory bases for the concession. of subsidies for carrying out activities related to the promotion and implementation of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development in Spain. The General Directorate of Agenda 2030 is the convening body by delegation of the Minister of Social Rights, Consumption and Agenda 2030 through Order DCA/249/2024, of March 15, setting spending limits and delegating powers. The subsidies will be allocated to: a) Projects that promote political and social advocacy actions to promote public policies and strategic planning aligned with the Sustainable Development Goals of the 2030 Agenda and the 2030 Sustainable Development Strategy. b) Projects that promote the generation and implementation of pilot projects and good practices that favor compliance with the Sustainable Development Goals of the 2030 Agenda, and that contribute to the addressing the country challenges prioritized in the Sustainable Development Strategy 2030. c) Projects located within the framework of social innovation and R&D&I that propose new methodologies, scenarios and approaches that contribute to responding to the country challenges prioritized in the Sustainable Development Strategy 2030 and that have research and knowledge as their backbone. d) Projects and initiatives that promote networking and the generation of inclusive multi-stakeholder alliances, in line with Sustainable Development Goal 17, which aim to strengthen and accelerate the implementation of the 2030 Agenda and contribute to addressing the country challenges prioritized in the 2030 Sustainable Development Strategy. e) Communication initiatives and development of transformative campaigns that generate knowledge and involvement of society in general with the promotion of the Agenda 2030 and the Sustainable Development Strategy 2030. Second. Requirements of the beneficiary entities. 1. The following may obtain the status of beneficiary entity: a) Associations, foundations and other private non-profit entities, as well as the entities that make up the social economy, defined in article 2 of Law 5/2011, of March 29, on the Social Economy, which must be legally constituted and registered, where appropriate, in the corresponding registries, as well as not be for-profit. Likewise, its objectives must be aligned with one of the Sustainable Development Goals and/or Goals of the 2030 Agenda, and promote collective well-being. b) Universities created in accordance with Organic Law 2/2023, of March 22, of the University System. 2. The condition of beneficiary entity of the subsidy implies that it assumes towards the convening entity all the rights and obligations inherent to such condition, derived from Law 38/2003, of November 17, General Subsidies and its implementing regulations, approved by Royal Decree 887/2006, of July 21. 3. The actions carried out by the beneficiary entities will have to comply with what is stipulated in the regulatory bases and in this call. 4. Those that fall into any of the circumstances provided for in article 13.2 and 3 of Law 38/2003, of November 17, General Subsidies, may not obtain the status of beneficiary entities. Third. Budget appropriations and maximum total amount of subsidies called. 1. The subsidies granted in accordance with the provisions of the regulatory bases, as well as in the resolution, will be covered by the budgetary credits of the General Directorate of Agenda 2030 of the Ministry of Social Rights, Consumption and Agenda 2030 for the financial year 2026, specifically budget application 29.07.921Y.480, for a maximum amount of 8,299,970.22 euros.
