The Local Government Board of the Baztan City Council, in a session held on May 21, 2026, approved the bases of aid for learning Basque, year 2026. First. – Beneficiaries. People who meet the following conditions may receive financial aid for learning Basque: Be over 16 years old. Be registered in Baztan for one year and remain in that condition for the duration of the activity that is the subject of the subsidy. Be up to date with tax payments and/or Social Security obligations and not have any outstanding debt with the Baztan City Council. Be enrolled in a Basque course during the 2025-2026 academic year (from September 1, 2025 to August 31, 2026) and have paid the registration fee.
