Official description of the call

RULES OF THE CALL WHICH WILL GOVERN THE GRANTING OF AWARDS FOR INDIVIDUAL ATHLETES OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF AS SOMOZAS MOTORSPORTS DISCIPLINE, IN THE ANNUAL 2026 To promote the practice of sports in the field of motorsports, a rally specialty in the town hall of As Somozas, the awards are called for the promotion and dissemination of this sport, being aware of the difficulties of and the athletes and the great economic investment that the practice of this sport entails and since it is a sporting discipline and modalities of relevant social and sporting weight in this town hall with a wide social following, of which the different Galician level competitions that are developed and run through the town hall are proof. And in accordance, therefore, with the provisions of the current Strategic Subsidy Plan, Line 2 seeks to promote, among other specific objectives: Support the development of official sports events and activities at the municipal, provincial, regional, national or international level, promotion of sports and healthy living and promote the sports representation of the city council in sports events and competitions, is established in the following bases of the call. First.- Object and regime of the call The object of this call is the organization of the applicable procedure for the granting of prizes, annual 2026, intended for individual athletes (drivers) of the motorsport discipline in the seven categories included in the calendar of the Galician Motorsports Federation which will be: Rallyes, Rallysprint, Mountain, Autocross, Rallymix, Slalom and Karting. Second The prizes for individual athletes of the municipality of As Somozas rally drivers, in the 2025/2026 year will be articulated in the form of prizes without compensation in a competitive competition regime, framed within the economic sector of sports activities (economic sector code 93.1) with a purpose of sports promotion (purpose code 18). Recipients may be beneficiaries of the prizes of this call, natural persons who are federated athletes in an official motorsport federation, of any category, of Spanish nationality or legal residents in Spain, who meet the following requirements: Personal requirements Have residence and be registered in the As Somozas City Council within the deadline for submitting the application and with at least one uninterrupted year of experience. Possess an official pilot federation license/file during the year 2026, in the discipline and/or modality for which the award is requested. Be up to date with tax obligations with the state, regional and local Treasury, as well as be up to date with obligations with Social Security. Those established in article 13 of the General Subsidy Law and applicable in the present case. Not serving a firm sanction for a disciplinary or administrative infraction in sports matters, classified as serious or very serious. B. Sports requirements. In order to be a beneficiary of the award, the individual athlete (pilot) must prove, through the respective federation certification, compliance with the requirement of having participated in official and federated competitions during the 2025/2026 year, in accordance with the following criteria: 1.- Accredit participation, at least, in two official and federated tests, during the 2025/2026 year, according to the tests and competitions of the official calendars of the Galician Motorsports Federation or the Spanish Motorsports Federation. The season is established as the period from November 1, 2025 to October 31, 2026. The prizes regulated in this call will be awarded on a competitive basis and under the principles of objectivity, transparency, equality, non-discrimination, effectiveness and efficiency. Registration and participation in the competitions and tests indicated in this point as sporting requirements in order to be a beneficiary of the prize, must be expressly indicated in the respective federative certification.
