1. Indication of the approval of the Regulatory Bases and Official Gazette where they have been published By agreement of the municipal plenary session dated March 26, 2026, the Regulatory Bases of the Viladecavalls Festival Poster contest were approved through the People Services Area, which have the purpose of regulating the procedure for granting subsidies from the Viladecavalls City Council to the winner of the Festival Major Poster contest that will be called each year in the framework of the Major Festival. These Regulatory Bases were published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Barcelona on April 22, 2026, without any allegations being made. Maximum total amount of subsidies and budget allocation A single prize of €500.00 is established for the winner of the contest. 3. Object and purpose The purpose of the subsidies of this call is to award the winning work of the Fiesta Mayor poster contest for the year 2026. 4. Concession procedure The concession procedure will be competitive competition. Participation requirements The contest is open to all people over 16 years of age. Documentation to be submitted The works must be submitted in digital format (pdf or similar), in A3 size (42x29.7 cm), with the indication “Festa Major Viladecavalls” and the dates of the current edition included in the poster design. They can be made with any technique or style that can be reproduced and printed in 4 colors. Theme of the contest The theme of the contest is included within the framework of the Festival. 8. Deadline, form and place for submitting applications The deadline for submitting works will begin the day following the publication of the call in the Official Gazette of the Province of Barcelona and will end on June 4, 2026. The submission must be made to the email: cultura@viladecavalls.cat, attaching the corresponding documentation. Participation in the call implies full acceptance of these bases and their compliance. 9. Popular vote The award of the prize will be carried out by popular vote. People over 16 years of age registered in Viladecavalls will be able to vote, after registering on the platform. All works admitted to the competition will be exhibited in the place and within the period indicated in the competition notice. The Viladecavalls City Council will publicly announce the result of the popular vote through the municipal website and corporate social networks in the days prior to the Festival. Your decision will be final. In the event of a tie, a draw will be held between the tied works.
