Beneficiaries Any person who, at the time of submitting the application, meets the following requirements can apply for the award: Having graduated or having achieved all the credits in any specialty from the Higher School of Dramatic Arts of the Institut del Teatre (ESAD), the Higher Conservatory of Dance (CSD) or the Professional Conservatory of Dance (CPD) of the Institut del Teatre or in the Postgraduate of Performing Arts and Social Action and/or in the Postgraduate of Arts performing arts and education. In all cases, within the 2016-17 to 2025-26 academic years (both included). Be of age. Not having previously obtained the IT Social and Community Action Award from the Institut del Teatre. Each signatory of the application may submit a single project in the current edition. In the same way, neither the signatory nor any member of his or her team may be part of any of the other aspiring proposals submitted for the Award in the current edition. Second. Purpose The purpose of this call is to regulate and establish the criteria and procedure for the application, processing, granting and payment of the IT Social and Community Action Award of the Institut del Teatre 2026. This award is part of the actions of the Institut del Teatre to: Support and enhance the professional insertion of graduates from any of the Higher Schools of the Institut del Teatre (High School of Dramatic Art [ESAD] and/or Conservatory of Dance [CSD]), at the Professional Conservatory of Dance (CDP) (as long as they are of legal age) and/or graduates of the Postgraduate in Performing Arts and Social Action or the Postgraduate in Performing Arts and Education of the Institut del Teatre, supporting and promoting the articulation of a project in which the performing arts and social and community action interact. This award aims to enable the creation, production and exhibition of the artistic result of a professional performing project that interacts the performing arts, artistic mediation and/or social and community action in any of the professional contexts of production and dissemination of culture. It is also intended to promote the development of projects with a vocation for stability and continuity that use the performing arts as a means for social and community action, as well as promote proposals that, through the performing arts, work to bring artistic practice closer to those spaces or those people who do not have easy access. Third. Prize award The IT Social and Community Action Award of the Institut del Teatre 2026 has a global financial award of THIRTY THOUSAND EUROS (€30,000.00). This amount will be charged to the budget of the Institut del Teatre broken down into the following years: Budgetary year Organic Economic Amount 2026 99200 480.06 €21,000.00 2027 99200 480.06 €9,000.00 Fourth. Deadline for submitting applications The deadline for submitting applications will be 10 business days from the day following the publication of the call in the Official Gazette of the Province of Barcelona (BOPB).
