Official description of the call
First. Beneficiaries. The following persons may be beneficiaries of these subsidies: Merchants' Associations, Group of Stores and Union of Stores, non-profit, with businesses associated with the city of L'Hospitalet, that develop programs, projects or activities that correspond with the subsidy line and the strategic objective established in the Strategic Subsidy Plan 2026-2027 indicated in section 1 of this call. The requirements for the application and the way to accredit them are included in the particular bases of the call. Second. Object. The purpose of this call is to contribute to the development of programs, projects and activities of citizen entities that promote an activity of public utility, social interest or promotion of the achievement of a public goal, whose purpose corresponds to the following strategic objectives established in the Strategic Subsidies Plan 2026-2027, the subsidy lines, the Management Area and, within it, the management service indicated below: Strategic objective: "Promote the "L'Hospitalet" brand within the framework of the metropolitan area and the economy by reinforcing social and economic agents, promoting commercial, business, tourism and the social economy in a framework of governance between the public sector and the private sector in activities of general interest" Subsidy line: "Promotion of urban commerce"Management area: Mayor's Office-Presidency AreaManaging service: Third Trade. Regulatory bases. Particular bases approved by the Local Government Board on April 15, 2026 and published in the BOPB number CVE 202610074673 dated April 21, 2026 and in the DOGC dated April 21, 2026. Fourth. Amount. The amount of this call is set at the amount of €85,000.00, which will be attributed to the following budget application of the municipal budget for the year 2026: Budget application: 05 4390 24890000Denomination of the application: Transfers to families and non-profit institutions Initial credit: €85,000.00 As a general rule, subsidies will not exceed 50% of the total budget of the project, program or activity. However, the Qualifying Commission may propose that this percentage be exceeded or that up to 100% of said budget be subsidized, after justification of the circumstances of local public interest by the instructor who endorses it. In no case may the proposed amount exceed the amount requested by the beneficiary. Fifth. Deadline for submitting applications. The deadline for submitting applications will be twenty business days from the day following the publication of the extract of this call in the Official Gazette of the Province of Barcelona. Any documentation related to these Bases (applications, forms, allegations, etc.), which must be submitted, will be done in electronic format at the City Council's electronic headquarters. Sixth. Other data. This call provides for the following subsidy modalities: General subsidies, when their purpose is to grant financial aid for the global financing of the activity that the beneficiary carries out from January 1 to December 31, 2026. Specific subsidies, when their purpose is to grant financial aid for the financing of a specific activity or project that is developed during the year 2026, unless a different execution period is set in the concession agreement, which can never be longer than 12 months and must always be started within this year. A specific subsidy cannot be requested for an activity that is already included in the project for which a general subsidy is requested. In accordance with articles 72 and 74 RGS, justification of compliance with the conditions and objectives determined in the act of granting the subsidy will be accredited in the following way: By means of a supporting account with the provision of proof of expenditure: Subsidies of an amount less than €60,000. In the case of the justification modality with a supporting account with provision of proof of expenditure: Presentation deadline: Unless a different deadline is set in the subsidy granting agreement given the execution period of the subsidized project or given the date of the proposal.
