Official description of the call

First. Object. The purpose of the subsidy is to grant financial aid to partially finance the cost of the dining room service for students aged 0 to 3 years enrolled in authorized first cycle Early Childhood Education schools, during the 2025/2026 academic year. The purpose of the subsidy is to guarantee citizens access to aid under the principle of publicity, transparency, competition, objectivity, equal opportunities and non-discrimination, as well as to improve efficiency in the allocation and use of public resources. The amount of the subsidy may not exceed 100% of the budget of the activity. Second. Granting procedure. The granting of the aid regulated in this call will be made through the ordinary procedure of competitive competition in accordance with the provisions of articles 22.1 and 23 to 27 of the LGS, by comparing the applications presented, in order to establish a priority between them in accordance with the evaluation criteria established in this call and awarding, with the limit set within the available credit, those that have obtained the highest evaluation in application of the aforementioned criteria. To obtain the aid, it will not be enough to meet the requirements demanded in the call, but it will be subject to the order number located within the maximum spending limit based on the income of the family unit. The budget allocation specified in the call is set as the spending limit. Third. Requirements to be a beneficiary. Beneficiaries of these scholarships will be all students aged 0 to 3 years enrolled during the 2025/2026 school year in schools and first cycle early childhood education centers authorized by the Department of Education, Research, Culture and Sports, who meet the following requirements: a) Having been enrolled in the 2025/2026 school year in the first cycle of Early Childhood Education, in a early childhood education center authorized by the Generalitat Valenciana. b) Be registered in Torrent together with the members of the family unit, with effect from the beginning of the 2024/2025 school year. c) The parents or legal representatives are not subject to any of the circumstances established in article 13.2 of the General Subsidies Law. d) Not receive any other public aid for the same concept if its amount, added to the aid regulated in these bases, exceeds the cost of the dining room service. To do this, the beneficiaries must notify the Torrent City Council of obtaining subsidies or aid for the same purpose, from any other public administration. Students who fall within the scope of application of the Resolution of July 1, 2025, which calls for the granting of school cafeteria aid in public and private non-university educational centers subsidized for the 2025-2026 school year may not be beneficiaries of these aids: third-level students of first cycle Early Childhood Education in CEIPS owned by the Generalitat.
