First. Purpose The purpose of this call is to grant individual school meals aid to compulsory education and second cycle early childhood education students enrolled in educational centers supported by public funds in the Cerdanya region during the 2026-2027 school year. Second. Beneficiaries Students who meet the following requirements may apply for aid: a) Have residence in Catalonia. b) Be enrolled in an educational center supported by public funds in Catalonia, in any of the courses of the second cycle of early childhood education or compulsory education during the 2026-2027 academic year, as well as in the second and third courses of the first cycle of early childhood education in those centers owned by the Generalitat where it has been implemented. c) Not enjoying the free dining room service. d) Not being in residential care. e) Make effective use of the school cafeteria service. Third. Regulatory bases The regulatory bases of this call were approved by the Regional Council of Cerdanya and published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Girona, in the Official Gazette of the Province of Lleida, in the Official Gazette of the Generalitat of Catalonia and in the electronic headquarters of the corporation. Room. Budget credit and amount The total amount of the call is conditional on the amount that the Department of Education and Professional Training of the Generalitat of Catalonia transfers to the Regional Council of Cerdanya for the financing of individual canteen aid corresponding to the 2026-2027 academic year. The aid may cover up to 70% or up to 100% of the cost of the school cafeteria service, in accordance with the requirements and criteria established in the regulatory bases, without in any case exceeding the maximum price set by the Department of Education and Professional Training based on the duration of the midday slot. Sixth. Deadline for submitting applications The regular deadline for submitting applications will be from May 12 to June 12, 2026, both included. In accordance with Resolution 17/XI of the Parliament of Catalonia, the call will remain open throughout the school year for the presentation of applications outside the ordinary deadline and for those derived from unexpected changes that imply substantial modifications to the socioeconomic situation of the family unit. Form and place of submission Applications must be formalized using the standardized model approved by the Regional Council of Cerdanya and may be submitted: Preferably through the electronic registry of the Regional Council of Cerdanya.
