Official description of the call

First. Beneficiaries: Students from 0 to 3 years old enrolled in the municipal daycare centers of Mataró who obtain a score in the evaluation criterion of “Economic capacity of the family unit” may be beneficiaries. Parents or legal guardians of the beneficiaries can request aid. The requirements to meet are: 1. Be a student at the Municipal daycare centers 2. The beneficiary child must be registered in Mataró. 3. The members of the family unit do not have to be found in any of the causes established in article 13.2 of Law 38/2003, of November 17, general on subsidies, and article 18.1 f. of Royal Decree 887/2006, of July 21, General Regulation of subsidies (you do not have to have debts with the Mataró City Council or with the Tax Agency or with Social Security). 4. Members of the family unit do not have to have debts for overdue receipts from the Municipal daycare centers of Mataró. A family unit is understood to be the group of people registered at the same address as the beneficiary with a kinship relationship up to the second degree of consanguinity and affinity (grandparents, parents and siblings of the student). Regarding the shared custody regime for the purposes of the family unit, the father and mother of the person beneficiary of the aid, their common children and the ascendants of the father and mother who justify their residence in the same address as the previous ones with the corresponding municipal certificate will be considered members of the family unit. It will be the obligation of the legal guardian of the beneficiary to communicate to the Mataró City Council any variations or changes in the social and/or economic situation of the family unit that may modify the circumstances that led to the granting of the aid. Second. Purpose: The purpose of this call is to establish a system of granting financial aid for families who have children enrolled in the Municipal daycare centers of Mataró, to facilitate the payment of the schooling fee and the fixed dining service fee. Third. Regulatory Bases: You can consult the text of the Regulatory Bases and obtain the application form on the City Council website: www.mataro.cat. Room. Amount: The budget limit of the aid is provided for in item no. 850501.326200.48000 - in the budget of the Education Service of the Mataró City Council; for the financial year 2026, from October to December, in an amount of €39,000.00 and in the budget for the financial year 2027, from January to June, in an amount of €85,000.00, conditional on the approval of the budget. The call for individual aid will be limited to the budgeted amount. In the event that the demand exceeds the budget allocation, aid will be covered for family units with the lowest income. In the event that there are surpluses in the initial award granted, whether for the year 2026 or 2027, the Commission may consider applying increases in the bonus granted. Fifth. Deadline for submitting applications: The deadline for submitting applications will be from June 18 to July 3, 2026, both included, for enrollment and place reservations in the ordinary period. Applications outside this period will not be accepted. For registrations throughout the course, the deadline for submitting applications will be 10 business days from the date of registration. Applications will not be accepted after this deadline. Even so, the commission may evaluate those applications that, due to duly justified exceptional circumstances, are submitted after the deadline. An exceptional circumstance is understood to be a change in economic and/or family situation that occurs during the school year. During the ordinary period, applications will preferably be submitted electronically through the Electronic Office (https://seu.mataro.cat). They can also be presented at the Citizen Attention and Assistance Offices. Appointment in advance at https://mataro.cat/citaprevia or through the free telephone number 010 (900 859 009 if calling from outside Mataró). Applications for new registrations made throughout the course will be made in person at the Education Service offices (Centro Cívico Cabot y Barba, Plaza de Miquel Biada, 5 Mataró).
