In view of the Xeresa City Council's Strategic Subsidies Plan (BOP No. 241 of 12/19/2022), in strategic line number 4 Education, the specific strategic objectives for this area are specified and which turn out to be the following: 4.5. STRATEGIC LINE 5 ESPORTS Strategic Objective: Help local sports entities in the organization of different activities. Specific Objectives: -Encourage the participation of local teams in federal/school competitions. - Organize the development of sports activities at the locality or aimed at the population whether recreational, popular or traditional in nature. - Assist the organization of high level campionats. - Organize the development of high-level events in our city. - Attend the activities that are characteristic of the clubs. - Provide sports teachings and techniques. - Disseminate and promote sports values. - Organize activities to promote sports practice. - Promote women's sports practice. - Organize sports training courses. - Donate support to local elite athletes - Acquire esportius materials and equipment. - Acquire trophies. - Promote sports practice for disadvantaged groups. In view of the Municipal Subsidies Ordinance of the Xeresa City Council (BOP no. 250 dated 12/30/2022) it is contemplated in article nº5 the finalities foreseen for the granting of subsidies and which are the following: Subsidies are intended to finance works or activities of public or social interest. 2. Subsidies can be allocated to any of the following purposes: a) Funding of works or actions, within the Municipality, that cooperate with the competence of the Local Entitat, respond to social needs or promote general interests (subsidies to promote sports, culture in all its aspects, historical heritage, the language of the Valencian Community, equality, solidarity, associationism, the environment, animal welfare, the animal movement, health, així with subsidies per contribute to the improvement and recovery of our festivals and traditions, to the education of students and to the improvement of the quality of life of people, with special attention to childhood, youth, disabilities and major personnel or the lack of functioning of the entities that carry them out b) Scientific, literary, artistic or similar awards, i). grants for studies or research. c) For reasons of solidarity, aid to depressed countries or areas or to alleviate public calamities, it should remain outside the Municipality of Xeresa and the Spanish State. 3. Subsidies that respond to criteria of mere liberality, which will be considered, are prohibited. null·les” In view of the fact that in the general budget of this City Council for the current exercise, the application of budget referred to for the granting of the subsidy to the entity assenyalada has been allocated.
