In view of the Xeresa City Council's Strategic Subsidies Plan (BOP no. 241 of 12/19/2022), in strategic line number 4 Education, the specific strategic objectives for this area are specified and which turn out to be the following: 4.9. STRATEGIC LINE 9 ANIMAL WELFARE Strategic Objective: Provide economic assistance to the various associations and profit-seeking entities of socio-sanitary types that develop projects in favor of animal welfare to Xeresa. Specific Objectives: - Maintain an adequate archive that allows the attention of abandoned animals and strays to our municipality. - Assist in the activities carried out by the associations for the promotion of animal rights, such as the respect, protection and adoption of animals. - Assist in the collection, care, management and health care of domestic and abandoned animals. In view of the Municipal Subsidy Ordinance of the Xeresa City Council (BOP no. 250 dated 12/30/2022) it is contemplated in article no. granting of subsidies and what are the following: "ARTICLE 5.- Finalization of the subsidies. 1. The subsidies are intended to finance works or activities of public or social interest. 2. The subsidies can be allocated to any of the following finalities: a) Funding of works or actions, dins of the Municipalities, that cooperate with the competence of the Local Entitat, respond to social needs or promote general interests (subsidies to promote sports, culture in all its aspects, historical heritage, the language of the Valencian Community, equality, solidarity, associationism, the environment, animal welfare, the veterinary movement, health, with subsidies to contribute to the improvement and recovery of our festivals and traditions, to the education of students and to the improvement of the quality of life of people, with special attention to children, young people, disabilities and senior staff. after the functioning of the entities that carry them out).
