Purpose The purpose of this Title is to regulate the granting of subsidies through a competitive bidding procedure to social organizations that carry out activities in the area of social services. The subsidies will be granted for the development of care projects aimed at the groups targeted by the association's activity. In some cases, they may also be granted to associations that develop projects or activities necessary to channel the specific needs detected by the Municipal Social Services in the exercise of their activity. 2. Financial resources To meet the call for 2026, authorize an expense in the amount of nineteen thousand five hundred euros (€19,500), charged to the following budget item of the Azpeitia City Council: 1.0600.480.231.00.02 – €19,500 The amount of the authorized expense may be increased by the body that has been assigned jurisdiction due to the amount of the modification, without giving rise to a new call. The effectiveness of the additional amount is conditional on the declaration of availability of the credit at a time prior to the resolution of the granting of the subsidies. 3. Beneficiary entities Any non-profit association and non-governmental organization whose activities coincide with these bases and the requirements contained therein may apply for this subsidy, such as, among others, having its headquarters or legally constituted delegation in the municipality of Azpeitia and being registered in the registry of associations of the Basque Government, or corresponding registry. The activities will take place in the municipality of Azpeitia in person. Exceptionally, social activities considered of interest to the municipality may also be eligible for aid, even if the requesting association or institution does not have official representation in Azpeitia and the subsidized activities are carried out in the municipality.
