Official description of the call

1.- Beneficiaries 1. Individuals and non-profit entities may participate in the “Joan Xirgo save”. In no case may public administrations, companies or commercial companies apply. Completed work will not be accepted. One research proposal per participant will be accepted. The proposal must be original and not have other prizes. If it is part of a larger project, it will need to be mentioned. If the work has other sources of financing, it will be necessary to list them. 2. In the “Cirera d’ Arboç guard”, individuals, groups or non-profit entities may opt. Candidates may be submitted by individuals, entities or public administrations. 3. Students whose research work has been presented and evaluated by secondary schools during the 2025-2026 school year will be eligible for the “Assumpta Fabre Dachs reserve”. Jobs that have participated in the Gavarres expert pool offered by the Consorci to accompany the job will automatically be included as candidates. 4. To obtain the status of beneficiaries of the awards, applicants must also meet the general requirements and conditions established in article 13 of Law 38/2003, of November 17, general on subsidies. 2.- Purpose The purpose of the call is the granting of the “Premis Les Gavarres” for the year 2026 through competitive competition and public call. This action aims to support research and research in Les Gavarres and stimulate the active participation of citizens in the conservation and dissemination of the values ​​of the massif. To this end, the “Premis Les Gavarres” consist of three awards: Joan Xirgo, Cirera d’ Arboç and Assumpta Fabré Dachs. The “Joan Xirgo guard” aims to provide an unpublished project proposal on any topic that contributes to the knowledge, study and development of the values ​​of the Gavarres massif. The project must be developed within one year from the award of the Prize, although two extensions of half a year each may be requested. The purpose of the “Cirera d’Arboç guard” is to value a vital trajectory of direct and palpable actions, carried out in the area of ​​Les Gavarres, thus recognizing contributions to the conservation, improvement or discovery of the values ​​of the massif. The purpose of the “Assumpta Fabre Dachs save” is to promote and evaluate high school research work carried out in relation to the Gavarres massif. 3.- Regulatory bases The specific regulatory bases for participation in the “Premis Les Gavarres” are published in the BOP of Girona no. 4, dated January 8, 2025. 4.- Amounts 1.- The three prizes determined in this 2026 call are: “Guardó Joan Xirgo”: €5,000.00 and an accrediting diploma. “Guardó Cirera d’Arboç”: trophy and an accrediting diploma. “Guardó Assumpta Fabré Dachs”: €1,000.00 and an accrediting diploma 2.- The corresponding budget allocation appears in budget application no. 17000.4800000 of the 2026 Budget. 5.- Form and deadline for submitting applications 1. If the appropriate means for telematic presentation are not available, it may exceptionally be done in person (attaching the research proposal for the “Joan Xirgo Award” in digital format) at the Consorci offices.
