Official description of the call
First. Beneficiaries 1. Students who meet the following requirements will be eligible for the Extraordinary Award: a. Have completed Intermediate Vocational Training studies in educational centers in the Autonomous Community of Cantabria, and have completed them during the year 2025. b. For the purposes provided for in the previous section, students from public centers and subsidized centers supported by public funds will be taken into account in which Intermediate Vocational Training courses are taught in accordance with Organic Law 2/2006, of May 3, on Education, both in person and virtually. c. To qualify for these awards it will be necessary to have obtained a score equal to or greater than 8.5 points as the average final grade of the professional modules taken. The final grade of the training cycle will be determined by finding the arithmetic mean of the grades of the professional modules that have numerical expression. The result will be recorded with a decimal figure rounded up if the second decimal figure is equal to or greater than 5 and by default, when it is lower. 2. Those who fall into any of the cases contemplated in article 12.2 of Law 10/2006, of July 17, on Cantabria Subsidies may not have the status of beneficiaries. Second. Purpose To approve the call for the Extraordinary Awards for Intermediate Vocational Training, corresponding to the 2024/2025 academic year, in the Autonomous Community of Cantabria, for the purposes of giving official recognition to the merits based on the effort and work of students who are studying Intermediate Vocational Training studies with excellent academic performance. Third. Regulatory bases Order EDU/14/2026, of May 11, which establishes the regulatory bases of the Extraordinary Awards for Intermediate Vocational Training, in the Autonomous Community of Cantabria, published in BOC No. 94, of May 19, 2026. Fourth. Amount The financial award for each Extraordinary Prize will amount to €400 gross. Fifth. Deadline for submitting applications 1. The application will be addressed to the head of the department responsible for vocational training, which will be formalized according to the standardized model that will appear as Annex I in the call and, preferably, will be presented to the secretariat of the center where the academic record of the interested person is located. In the event that the interested person submits the request to the secretariat of the center where their academic record is located, they must do so within a period of 7 business days, counting from the day following the publication in the Official Gazette of Cantabria of this extract. The centers will collect the required documentation and register it within a period of 15 business days, counting from the day following the publication in the Official Gazette of Cantabria of this extract. 2. Likewise, the registration of the application may be carried out electronically through the General Electronic Registry (REC) available at the electronic headquarters of the Government of Cantabria https://sede.cantabria.es or in any of the places provided for in article 134.8 of Law 5/2018, of November 22, on the Legal Regime of the Government, the Administration and the Institutional Public Sector of the Autonomous Community of Cantabria within of the same period of 15 business days, counted from the day following the publication in the Official Gazette of Cantabria of this extract.
